This is a reliable printer cartridge. It produces crisp clean type. The ease of installation is helpful. When the cartridge gets near the end of its usefulness I remove it and shake from side to side and can usually get a few more pages of copy. The reliability of HP products is appreciated. A brand I trust!
I have liked this printer a lot for printing in B & W and also air printing. It is economical and prints well. The only drawback is that when the toner is out you don't have much warning. I try to keep an extra toner on hand for that. Otherwise, I highly recommend this printer.
Comparable pricing to anywhere else you can buy the toner with the added bonus of delivery. Can't go wrong.
This is the first replacement cartridge for my new printer. It was easy to install and works well. My problem is they report this will work on 500-1000 copies but the original cartridge barely lasted 200 pages. And it was so expensive. Why are these cartridges not able to be refilled by me? It is ecologically unsound as well as very expensive. I would not have bought this printer if I had known how expensive it was to print.
Very hard to find my toner. Site needs to be relegated to my particular printer. So many toner cartridges, never saw my printer. It was included with other printers using the same cartridge. Finally saw my printer along with numerous others using the same toner. Will think twice before ordering off the web site
Too expensive. Adjusting the print quality down doesn't help. If the printer feeds a blank sheet through, the cartridge electronics counts it as a printed page. When the cartridge counter reaches the quantity stated, it prints no more. Supposed to print 900 pages. I didn't finish my ream (500) when it "ran out of ink." There is no other cartridge choice if HP is to honor the warranty.
I was very upset that the toner cartridge did not come with directions. After I inserted it into my printer, it would not print. It just kept ejecting blank pages. I tried to get help online and wound up with a scammer taking over my computer. I finally compared my new cartridge with the old one to discover an orange plastic cap on it. I removed it, and a long tape came out of the new cartridge. I thought I had ruined it! How did I know that this is what I was supposed to do??? This negative experience could have been avoided if HP had provided directions in the box with the new toner!!!
Your relentless messages about low toner ink (even though we'd already purchased new cartridges from you) almost destroyed the effective use of my laptop. Some days I had to delete literally 100's of repeat messages. How dare you???!!!!!
I replaced the toner and the left side of the pages are not printing.
Instant Ink was a huge ripoff, as I was only using about half the pages I paid for over the course of a year. The printer won't accept aftermarket cartridges. HP basically extorted me into buying this toner and they have earned my eternal contempt.
