HP is the BEST Computer!

Kdk28 May 13, 2020

I highly recommend this HP 15.6 Touch computer! I own other HP products, but I especially love this 15.6 i3 Touch Laptop! The touch screen is amazing and the screen is a perfect size. This notebook is also less than 4 pounds, so it is perfect to carry to work. The battery is also great on this computer, and can last up to 8 hours. This computer is definitely worth the purchase price. This computer is perfect for work, entertainment, and even gaming!

Great!!

Roxana32 May 26, 2020

The HP Laptop is incredible. It's easy to stay productive and focused with this device. You can fit it right into your backpack and travel with it wherever. It weighs less than 4 pounds, so you don't have to worry about it troubling you. The display of this product is so vibrant and high-definition. Everything is so clear! You can easily perform tasks on this laptop and even successfully do more than one at a time. There's reliable performance every day for a great experience overall. I love the maximized view of this screen and the other amazing features, like the smooth graphics, HD camera, and dual microphones. Everything put into this laptop is super high quality and great to use. I also like how it can last a long time without being charged! The laptop can last almost 8 hours on just one charge and also charges very quickly. Lastly, I like how environmentally conscious the company made this laptop. In general, I highly recommend this product!

Works Great

ls2chevyastro May 14, 2020

Pretty powerful laptop, Fast and light, Battery latest for 4 hours being stressed. The keyboard is hard to read, font could of been thicker and different color, blends in with the silver. Comes with windows 10 S Mode. I upgraded to Pro for the extra features. Upgrading the memory and SSD is easy. CPU Can NOT be upgraded. Screen is only 720p. Has a 3470 mAh Battery

Looks and works great!

Randi June 7, 2020

I am thrilled to review the HP 15.6 i3 TOUCH 8GB/256GB LAPTOP. It is a sleek looking device with a matte cover which doesn't show fingerprints, a small issue to be sure, but one that bothers me about my black laptop. It is easy to carry and fits right into an average tote or laptop bag. The screen is a generous 15” diagonally and produces a clear picture. The touch screen is a great feature, making it convenient to move from window to window very quickly. The keys are large and raised, making them easy to use. I type by touch and rarely look at the keys while typing, however, I do need to search for function keys from time to time. That becomes a problem because the typeface identifying the keys is gray while the laptop tray background is silver, which isn't enough of a distinction for me. It slows me down, although I'm sure it won't be long before I become familiar as to where the functions I use most are located. The trackpad is slightly recessed and very responsive; it doesn't take a heavy touch to navigate a page. That said, I still prefer to use a mouse, which does not come with this laptop, but may be easily purchased most anywhere inexpensively. The caps lock key has a light, but the number lock and shift keys do not. The sound of the speakers is really excellent. I was listening to music while working and found that it plays true to the song; it's a clean sound with no distortion even when turned up to a high volume. I used the system's camera and microphone for a conference call and found them to be quite suitable. The unit charges quickly and the battery power has lasted as much as 8 hours of straight web surfing and word-processing. Finally, I was genuinely surprised by how much software came preloaded on this device. It was suggested by an IT specialist friend that I uninstall all that I was certain I wouldn't ever need on order to save space, which was easy enough to do. Overall, I am so pleased with the HP 15.6 i3 Touch 8GB/256GB Laptop. I feel certain that I will have years of satisfying home computing ahead of me and I recommend this laptop for others like me who use it for correspondence, email, web surfing, photo sharing and other social media functions.

Very Nice Laptop

Gene May 13, 2020

I received this HP Laptop, 15.6 i3 TOUCH 8GB/256GB LAPTOP-SILVER from Walmart Spark Review to test and review. First of all, I really like the weight of the laptop. It is very light. Not much heavier than the average tablet. It looks smaller than 15 inch, but it is the way it is designed with more screen than plastic. I also like the full featured keyboard with a numbers keypad. It comes with Windows 10 S in which I changed in setup because I like other programs other than just Microsoft programs. Straight Windows 10 for me. I do miss the CD/DVD drive, but I can use an external via USB if necessary. I also like very much, the SSD. I only wish it were larger, but it will do. It is very fast compared to HDD. At the present, I don't need the USB-C but it could be needed later. I would personally prefer 3 USB's instead of the 2 plus the C. The display is very sharp. My wife loves it because she plays her games without lag. The initial setup is fairly easy. Has voice assistance. The card reader works well. One problem I would redesign is the power supply inlet. It is too close to the back edge and will be easily damaged. It's also too close to the USB ports. HDMI port is also nice on this unit. Over all, I like this laptop very much and would recommend it for the average consumer. I hope this review helps someone with a purchase decision.

Love this laptop for daily streaming and browsing

JRader May 28, 2020

The laptop runs well. It is pretty light so I can take it almost anywhere. The screen is big and I had no issues with the display. The start-up and set up of the laptop was easy, fast, and better than I expected. You can increase the RAM in the laptop if you want. It's open-source so you can get upgraded ram and put it in. However, the current 8 GN is enough for me for daily streaming and browsing capabilities. I do not use it for anything else. I use my Macbook Pro for when I need to deal with spreadsheets, have multiple tabs open, etc. for work. The speakers are pretty loud as well, but I mainly listen to it with my wireless headphones. Wifi is good too and connects easily. Keyboard feels nice. Overall, it is a great starter laptop and the price point is worth it. I am very happy with it. I think it'll last a few years as well. I highly recommend this laptop for simple uses. The specs on the website are accurate as well. I would look at that thoroughly if you're unsure if this laptop is the right fit for you.

This is an old stock computer

Steve April 14, 2026

While this is an inexpensive computer, you need to be aware it comes with Windows 10, which Microsoft stopped supporting in October of 2025 and a lot of the modern software won't run on it. It is upgradable to Windows 11, which I did, but it was not straightforward and I had to download some installation assistance software from HP to get it to work. Also keep that this is an old stock computer and it is out of warranty from HP before you even open the box.

Terrible Laptop After 6 Months of Light Use

Maggie January 8, 2021

I purchased this laptop in June 2020 and it is currently Jan 2021. The laptop's battery is awful. I can barely get through 2 - 3 hours of light browsing without needing to charge it again. I was also using the laptop today when it shut off to a black screen and started making a horrible noise. I shut the laptop screen and it continued to make the noise for several minutes. I restarted the laptop and it turned back on (thankfully), but I doubt that this laptop will make it another 6 months. When I first turn the laptop on, it's also extremely slow and the mouse will "lag" and "skip" across the screen for several minutes until the computer warms up. This laptop supposedly has a SSD, but it certainly doesn't seem like it. Worst $500 that I ever spent on a laptop.

i had this laptop about 4 months and the charger port became damaged by plugging and unplugging the charger. Reached out to HP about my options and warranty come to find out. warranty for my device started 6 months before i even purchased the device. they refuse to accept my walmart app receipt. told me i need physical receipt to update warranty. making me feel like a scam artist for asking about them replacing the charger port. overall they've done nothing, ive read this is a common problem with this model laptop and i now basically own a $459 paperweight. im sure theyll try to milk me for a few hundred more if i asked about them replacing my charger port that proved to be faulty. avoid any product HP
