Found this laptop at WalMart for $324 which is an excellent price. It's currently $537 from Amazon. Put it in cart while I thought about it. About five hours later, went back to cart and saw that it had been reduced to $299. That was too good to pass up, so I ordered it. Was surprised to see that there was no sales tax. I'd forgotten that it was no-tax weekend, so I saved another $30 or so. Can't beat that price for a tenth-generation I3 processor, 128 GB SSD, and 4GB RAM. It's for my granddaughter to use for school, so it will do the job. Only complaint I have is the silver on silver keytops. If you're a hunt-and-peck typist they're a little hard to see. She touch types, though, so it should not be a problem.

Had this computer for a couple weeks and so far very happy with it. Very fast, to be expected with new computers. I got the upgraded screen and light up keyboard and very happy with them as well. Plays games at decent levels, not a hardcore PC gamer but runs Starcraft 2 on full graphics. So far happy with my purchase.

Ordered this laptop to replace a 4 year old 15" laptop that had a mechanical failure of the screen hinge mechanism. This 15" laptop is slightly smaller and lighter with a far better engineered screen hinge. Does not have a built in DVD drive (would have got 5 stars if it did). Upgraded memory from 8 GB to 16 GB after receiving it. I recommend the Optane memory option: really speeds up boot time and shutdown. HP needs to make a YouTube videos to show how to access the inside their products for servicing; you have to remove the rubber skid strips on the bottom to access all the screws. BE AWARE that you can't just activate windows anymore. You have to create a Microsoft account with valid phone number or email, but they say the new account can be deleted if you request. I requested mine to be deleted, but it is still active and I keep getting nasty-grams from Microsoft about it.

I purchased this laptop about three weeks ago. Speed and speakers are very good. Streams internet efficiently. I am disappointed in 1920 x 1080. Not worth the money! I do not see a marked improvement from my old Dell laptop with lower resolution. "Sale" price was reasonable. Very good, but far from special. Beginning to abhor new Microsoft Office software!!

Affter 3 years with my HP 840 G3 (I5), I felt the need to move to a new laptop. I decided on the 15t as I was looking for a bigger screen and better resolution. I have the 15t for about a week. I am not an happy customer. Yes it is faster and bigger but that is it. I hate the keyboard it is not as responsive as the G3. The higher resolution is not really much better but create distortion in the various applications. I will wait another month to pass final judgment. Perhaps it is just getting used too vs. the G# that I really enjoyed.

I like the laptop itself, but I didn't realize that it is a Microsoft ran computer. This means that the default browser is Microsoft Edge, which I'm not fond of because I've been using Chrome for years. So none of my Chrome bookmarks will be saved. And now I'm being asked to buy a subscription for Microsoft Office, when these apps are free on my old laptop.
