This laptop is really nice! I love the gold color on the cover. It is super thin and light weight. What I loved the most is that when you first plug it in and turn it on, Cortana greets you and guides you through the set up. This makes everything so much easier. After a few minutes of questions and steps your computer is ready do use. Now I am not computer savvy whatsoever, so this really helps make the process super easy. Love Cortana! The speakers are really good too. I like that they are on top of the keyboard and not underneath the laptop. I also love that it is touch screen which makes it so much easier to use. The keyboard is spacious and has good enough space in between each key which makes typing more relaxed. I like that it's not all squished like other keyboards I have used that only allows you to type with your finger tips or else you will be pressing several keys at once. I love how big the screen is. It is as big as the size of the laptop. Overall, I love everything about this laptop. I have nothing but good things to say. I highly recommend this laptop to everyone.

I bought this for my wife and a Christmas gift. She hasn't said much but she issues it all the time I have noticed it's much faster than her old laptop and i have yet to hear her curse at it as she did quite often with her old laptop. I have not found another laptop at this price with the specs of this one. It send to be one of those extremely rare great deals you hear about but are never there at the right time to get in on it.

Haven't had to too long, but so far I'm satisfied with it except I didn't realize it didn't have a cd rom drive when I bought it, for the price, just assumed it did. Just getting to know it, there is an annoying clicking from it that sounds like it's taking pictures or something.

I was also impressed by how "user friendly" the Windows 10 set up is now- I don't recall having Cortana talking me through set up in the past. Very nice! But for those who wish, customized set up is still available. The unit is sleek, lightweight (4.25lbs ) and thin ( 0.7 inch ), measuring (14.24x9.67 ) overall. It is b/g/n/ac wireless compatible, and also has Bluetooth. I like that HP has not installed a lot of "bloatware". The programs and apps available through HP are useful and efficient. I usually just plug in a wireless mouse, because my arthritis leaves me little patience with mouse pads. But the mouse pad on this unit is very sensitive and It clicks so I can tell what I am doing. The touchscreen is sensitive, as well. I I also like that it has an SD card slot. I feel I am getting all of the current technology I need. An HP HD wide vision camera with integrated dual array digital delivery. And with B&O (Bang and Olufsen, no less!). I am an older person, and i actually had to look up B&O PLAY. Oh my, it is the Bang and Olufsen In my age group, we have admired B&O for years! I highly recommend this laptop! Perfect for "Back to school", but truly for so many people! A truly great laptop. Young or older, I think it will deliver! The sound is fantastic!

Its a nice light weight laptop I am really enjoying it and look forward to getting HP laptops from now on

Its a pretty good computer

The fan or internals make a high pitched sound that is like a jet engine taking off, only softer..really annoying. Replaced two year old laptop and do not notice any faster online interactions, in some cases seems to take longer. Internet speed from provider has remained the same. Very surprised and feeling like this was not a good purchase for mostly online interaction, over a much cheaper model.

This is a very sleek looking laptop, Core I7 processor, decent amount of RAM and a touchscreen. But... THE FAN NOISE WILL DRIVE YOU CRAZY. I'm not sure why they though a laptop that sounds like a jet engine sitting in your living room is what people want. The fan noise is distracting. I was leery about buying an HP, and it turns out I was right. Will need to return it.

I have no idea if this item WOULD be a great laptop. It never worked. It came with minimal software, not even a 1-yr subscription to basic word processor software. Ridiculous price. After two days struggling to get Microsoft 365 to download, the whole thing died completely. Won't even turn on even though I charged it for two days.

Do not buy this computer! One year old and will not boot and cannot fix
