I buy the black and colored cartridges of cyan, yellow and magenta. They work well. Sometimes have a problem getting off the ink protector cap, but do it. Like the ease with which I can order them.
I buy genuine HP ink cartridges because there is no option. The printer has firmware that will not allow me to use any other brand of cartridge. I have tried it several times, to no affect. If you're going to purchase an HP printer, get used to spending for your ink cartridges.
i did not realize that the printer we purchased can only use HP issued cartiages. Luckily our local store carried them. i ordered and pickup within hours. Thanks !
Wow, what an ink cartridge!! I used to have an ink cartridge from HP's instant ink program, where they implant a device into the cartridge that then phone's home to HP to tell them when its dying so they can send a replacement victim. However, the one they sent me was already half-way dead, and the implanted tracking device wasn't working properly, and not phoning home, so I couldn't get another one. So, I had to “buy” this one, outside of the instant ink program! Which, I then got an email getting after me for inserting an ink cartridge that couldn't phone home! (I'm 100% serious). This cartridge, once inserted has been a delight to use. It actually prints in the correct shade of black, and is consistent throughout the document!
hard to get the wrapping off and the color label on the top of the ink cartridge peeled off when I pulled the tab. Then the printer seemed to be reluctant to accept it as HP ink. Not worth the price in terms of amount of ink in each cartridge
I have trashed the entire printer. Absolutely will NEVER. REPEAT NEVER! BUY ANOTHER HP PRODUCT. With your decision to vandalize people's personal property in a stealth attack resulting in a non functional printer so you can continue to charge usury prices for ink will result in your collapse. Enjoy bankruptcy.
Horrific product. DO NOT BUY. Ink appears to evaporate without use. I don't need to print things often. Every time I put in a brand new replacement ink cartridge, i print a few pages, and come back a few months later only to find the cartridge is empty. Literally a single use product. Outrageous. HP should be criminally prosecuted. I've been burned enough times now that I've learned my lesson for good. Will be trash this printer soon and buy a different brand. Will never buy an HP product ever again.
Very disappointed, 2 of the inks worked perfectly but when I installed the blue my printer stated not installed when I looked at the blue head no ink , it looked a green color not the dark Blue- when I called HP stated the ink was dried up , now if I retained the box I would return and ask for a partial refund , so I had to buy ink at staples no problem with installation. So I highly recommend to you to think twice before purchasing
Unable to get sufficient number of copies before it will not print red colors. I am 100 years old and only person using my printer. Only use for my personal activity.
Printer would not recognize these even though I've been using this exact style for years. Not to mention having to pay the $40 each time I need to print (once a year) because they basically evaporate each time somehow.
