it's a great printer. gets the job done. It also has an app that you can use straight from your phone to use with the printer....which I find very convenient. And the ink doesn't run out quickly because the cartridges are larger than your average size ink carts. I would have liked if the buttons on the printer would have the name of the functions for each button actually on the product. so I do recommend keeping the user manual handy till you memorize the button signs.
Truly PHENOMENAL EASE in wireless setup, ESPECIALLY printing from phone!!!! Hae never had an install go this easily with anything wireless or network. Quality of print and color reproduction (to original) excellent also. Well done, HP. I hope I will be as thrilled with ink usage speed (%26 avoid sticker shock on cartridges), but for now—at time of install and first page printed—am VERY happy with this purchase.
I am pleased with this printer and would recommend it. I had purchased a Cannon from a different retailer and it would not sync up with my HP Chrome laptop. Despite calls to Cannon support they could not resolve it for me, so I returned it and ultimately found this printer. For an inexpensive printer I am very happy with this purchase. Easy to set up and the print is very clear. I cannot speak to the WIFI set up because I do not have the need to use it. This printer does not come with a cable, I use an appropriate cable that I already had. I did not sign up for the Instant Ink as it has a monthly fee after the first 3 months. Based on my personal usage, the 3 months would expire before I could take advantage of this offer. In addition, my personal usage will not offset the lowest monthly premium.
Seems like a great printer to have at home for smaller projects and at a great price. I did choose to opt out of the auto ink program as I found it would be cheaper to supply my own.
I followed setup directions and did not print test page. Checked ink cartridge and bottom of printer, no paper is found but display shows start button and paper problem flashing. Has not printed one page. I have setup numerous printers previously without issues like this. Previous printers have usuallybeen hp.
Do not purchase a HP printer. You will be wasting your money. They are out here scamming people to sell their ink not to get you a printer. I purchased this one and will soon be putting it in the trash. I am done some research and found better options that actually work. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK.
could not get this printer to work. after trying unsuccessfully to get it to connect to my wireless network, I read in the instructions that it won't work with 5g, which is what I have. That was not clear when I purchased it. I'm so disappointed and will be returning it
East installation. Worked for first 3 months even though it was a pain that I can’t use it unless I pay monthly for ink!! I only print bout 5 pages every 6 weeks.. I’m on page 20 since June and it now takes one hour to print a page!!!!!! Such a hassle! Of course it’s past the 3 month return window! Perfect timing to quit working!!
This printer is worthless. It works maybe 25% of the time. The "free" ink cartridges are deactivated by the company and are unusable if you cancel the auto ship program. I would not recommend this printer or any printer that uses the HP ink refill program.
I bought this product and installed it very easy process. Tried to print multiple pages after few pages stop printing and sometimes partially printing or blank. Very bad experience
