i love the quality of the print outs and how much you very out of a cartridge. they stay in top of making sure you never run out of ink and have paper addons. prices are great. they even have roll over sheets. saving so much money having a hp ink plan. really dry save 50% .
It is an excellent Printer and I replaced my previous model to upgrade my systems to my home. It uses extra large in cartridges that are more efficient. I provides security hookups for all my computers and phones.
I've been using HP printers for years. My last one gave out on me and it was hard to part with it, after 10 years. But, this printer was easy to setup, and I was able to transfer my HP Instant Ink account without any issues. I love my new printer, especially the price, and ease of use. My last one was black but, this cream color one is not a deal breaker. I definitely recommend it, if you're in need of a new printer, don't hesitate get this one.
I purchased this as an opened item. It was through HP and showed up in great shape. And it was only a third of the cost. Our WI-FI is 5ghz and the printer is a 2.4ghz. So you need to install it from their phone app first. Then you can install it on your computer and connect it to your Wi-Fi. It took hours for me to figure that out. But it works as intended.
The machine did not run properly and I sent it back. It printed 1/3 color page, then quit. Then printed 2 blank pages and I was charged for 4. The program call for purchasing ink and paper, then HP keeps track of all that you do. So the printer was connected to a remote control, not my printer. Its called HP Smart. Smart means AI; and you don't have control. Too much error letting AI control and interfere with your work. Also, all your work is being tracked through AI and your information too is being collected.
The setup was terrible.....the ink received with the printer did not register showing it as empty tried to talk to chat but no one could help...there is no phone number to call for in person assistance and finding the serial number is impossible as efforts to input what was on the machine rejected as a no match....right now it is a waste....plus the info on the machine to select what you want to do doesn't light up.
It is too complicated. I am 92 yrs old and cannot figure how to work it. I hav e had two younger people look at it and hey say it is not all here. They tell me the ink deal is fraud, a rip off. I want to return this for a fujll refund. and I don't know how to do that.
Do not sign up for the free ink trial. When I tried to install new hp cartridges, it said they were unusable. Tried several times. Then it wouldn’t hook up to my WiFi (router ONE inch away). The customer service is all AI so they really don’t care about the customer. The help instructions just put you into a loop that doesn’t address the problem
it prints fine when it stays connected to my network - I've had to reset several times. If I'm printing and run out of paper I need to shutdown to get it to start again.
U sent me a used printer. I tried to sign up for the HP ink program, and they say they couldn't register it because it was already under someone else's name. I paid for a brand-new printer, not a refurbished one. Either sent me a fresh one or please refund my money. THANK U!
