Price was competetive compared to five other options. It arrived a day early. Have had HP printers in the past and was always pleased with the quality.
I would like to comment on how professional the process was purchasing my printer. It arrive one day earlier than projected. Thanks for the follow up!
I love it! It was easy to set up. I am 73 years old and it did take me 40 minutes but I did it. I have always been an HP customer.
This is similar to my old HP printer that my new computer could not load a compatible driver and was still working fine after 9 years. It was easy to set up and start printing. My big complaint is lack of a menu screen. It has lights and emblems of various colors. But they do not have a written legend and you must either memorize the operators manual or have it handy for reference, i.e.: It has 2 button figures to copy - one is for color, the other is for black/white, then you punch them multiple times for more than one copy, and have no option to key in the number of copies, any errors are numbered and require use of the operators manual. It's a decent printer for the price, but it could be more user friendly. I expect years of service, like the old one that I retired - it had a user friendly menu screen.
It's not good enough for the kind of work I print. I print my label on the 5252 and I expected this to perform better than the 5252 officejet all in one but i was wrong,
I have used HP products for personal and business use. I recently upgraded my all in one and decided to upgrade my printer as well. This is one of the worst printers I have ever used or owned, it runs out of ink quickly. The company gives free trial of instant ink. Which they charge you even when you don't need ink yet. Then if you cancel your subscription which I did I can no longer use my printer or the ink cartridges without an active subscription. So the printer is useless unless you want to pay a monthly fee!!!!!!!!!!! Save your money don't buy this printer it is not worth the headache. Wish I would have known all this before the return period was up but of course your free trial lasts just long enough to let it expire.
The description states three months of instant ink at no charge, only received three months and can't get anybody to respond, I have made three attempts.
Printer arrived on Thursday 10/10!2024I used it on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. By Monday it had run out of black ink. I had printed about 40 black and white pages. HP advertises this printer can print 700 pages a month. My black and white ink lasted 3 days. I also noticed that the warranty was for 9 months and 17 days. The website states 6 months the of ink. The literature that came with the printer only states 3 months. Discrepancy there. The setup information is not at all intuitive. You have to figure it out through trial and error and not rely on the written information because it can be very vague. I immediately reached out to HP on Monday through their chat but Monday 10/14/24 but have not heard back. I will contact Walmart to find out how a supposedly full cartridge of ink can be completely empty after printing 40 pages, especially when it's advertised as 700 pages a month.
I didn't even get a chance to review this product for it had gotten damaged in transit. The box had multiple punctures on different sides of the box. The actual printer 's glass was smattered into multiple pieces. I took it to the Walmart store closest to me and tried to find a replacement. There was NONE. So, upon reordering, I found that I was unable to buy it at the same price AND wasn't even able to receive the 6 months' ink cartridges. This was NOT a pleasurable experience and will probably go elsewhere from now on to have products delivered .
There were no 6 months of ink, only offered 3 months HP printer very different from the online ad Walmart needs to review what they sell and offer
