Reliable printer at a great price from Walmart. The only thing that I did not like was that it did not come with a USB cord because I do not use it wireless.
So fare this printer is working like a printer should no problems it does what I ask it to do and you don't have to be a rocket scientist to work it. Good printer for basic print jobs
I wish they would put on the box that this product in NOT available for instant ink. The Instant ink program is great but I feel they should put this important fact on the box, or in this case on their websire which is where I purchased it. I am (was) an HP fan but no more. Feel like I wasted my money.
the printer was not easy to connect i didn't have a cord they said i needed so i never got it connected i'm sending it back as soon as i find me another printer
I bought the unit thinking it was an all in one, arrived and is only a printer. After looking over what I ordered I did order only the printer. Very large for printers of today. Was very difficult hooking up to wireless printing.
Liked size and it came with cartriges ; however it did not have a Scan glass with it and only 1 manual (very limited). I have been trying to contact the company ever since; can't scan!!!!
After seven days of troubleshooting, this printer never connected with my wireless service. The printed instructions were abysmal and the online instructions did not result in success. I have returned the printer.
Product came broken unable to use it
We purchased eight Officejet Pro 6230 printers. So far, HP has replaced 4 of them due to print head or paper size light issues. Each time I speak with a representative, he/she offers to sell me an extended warranty. Clearly these products are defective. Why would HP think that customers who have had a 50% defect rate be interested in paying more for an extended warranty? HP has never offered to extend the warranties on their own accord or provide replacements for all eight printers with a different, less defective model. Seems like HP is banking on the warranties expiring, forcing us to replace all eight printers in a short period of time. Lastly, the HP site will not allow me to submit a bad review of the product for others to see. I have tried multiple times. I also attempted to submit a website ticket to fix the review section, but I received no response. Buyers beware!
Initially I connected to this device with my laptop with my wireless network. Then I tried to connect with my wife's Acer notebook running windows 8.1. The notebook could not connect to this printer. I tried all the recommended fixes and it still would not work. I tried a chat solution but got no response or email back. Am very disappointed with this experience especially because during the trouble shooting procedure I kept getting a warning about a print-head problem. I was also unable to connect my android phones to this device. I have not yet tried to resolve this problem with the HP automated troubling system
