This pc slim tower is easy to unbox and setup. After unboxing the HP Slim I could see that it would fit in almost any small space, it is ideal for basic usage and it's powerful enough for some moderate gaming and will undoubtedly display HD videos. I can keep more than three complex applications open at a time for pretty good multitasking. The HDMI port and wifi among other things make this desktop a true slim & powerful desktop with many features. The size and weight makes it effortless to relocate. Overall, this is a very good pc tower.
This computer is very easy to set up and it runs well. Mine was shipped in the original (as opposed to inconspicuous) packaging, so it does expose what the item is if you're concerned about that. Both the keyboard and mouse are included, but a monitor is not, so you'll have to provide that separately. I really like the slim tower design—it's lightweight and a real space saver. I've had no problems with the functioning so far, and we're very happy with it, overall.
I am very impressed with this computer. I like the way it looks, with it being primarily Black with a smooth outer body and nice pattern design on the front. It's a very small tower computer. It's about the same size as One of those older thick dictionaries. While I connected it to our living room television, it was hard for family and friends to realize that there was a computer hooked up to our TV, nor did they realize or recognize that it was sitting directly beside the TV. It does everything that I need a computer for. It plays DVDs and other media and it can record DVDs too. This is not a gaming computer as it only has 4 Gigabytes of RAM. But looking on the inside, I see where I can easily upgrade the RAM. The HP Mini Tower was so very easy to set up. It came with a keyboard and a mouse and I plugged it directly into our television, using a HDMI cable. The computer comes on really fast and I can multitask well with it, doing several things at one time, or leaving applications open while I work on other things. It has a duel core Processer and this is what makes my multitasking possible. Where other computers would bog down if I used too many programs or apps, this One stays fast and ready. It has 8 USB ports with varying speeds available. It has One HDMI and one VGA at rear and It comes with Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2 Combo, So you don't have to worry about a bunch of wires and connections to get on line. With not having to have a bunch of wires running all over the place, this ads to it's space saving qualities. The Graphics are smooth and well defined. It has a 3-in-1 Media Card Reader and Supports SD, SDHC, SDXC External ports. It comes with 1 Tarabyte of storage space, so saving pictures, Music and videos won't be a problem with this computer. It comes with Windows 10 Home edition loaded on it and it. Setting Windows up was just a matter of answering a few questions. There is so much that can be said in favor of this computer. I would definitely recommend it to friends or relatives.

I recently got this HP small form factor PC and although I've only had it a short time, it is working out great! First, check out the picture attached to this review to see how small it is compared to the keyboard and mouse. Since I'm working exclusively from home these days, I wanted a basic PC that I could connect dual monitors to and be able to connect to my PC at work. I didn't want a docking station with a laptop and then also have two monitors on my desk. Instead, I can tuck this small form factor PC off to the side of my desk (although it isn't much bigger than a laptop in its docking station if you wanted to put it on the top of your desk) and have the full desk area for my monitors, mouse, and keyboard. This works perfectly for that. It has both a monitor port as well as an HDMI port not to mention built-in wireless, 2 expansion slots, and several USB ports, more than I'll ever use (see front and back photo). No, it is not a gaming machine, but, plenty powerful enough for normal home and work tasks. It has a 1TB drive that could be used to store all your favorite movies or music if you wanted to use it for that purpose as well. Again, take look at the picture to see what all it comes with. Although I plan on buying a wireless mouse and keyboard, the keyboard and mouse that it does come with work great. This HP PC is perfect for your home office needs.
So far its great computer for the price. Setup was super easy. Had WiFi built in. I do wish they would have had a photo of the back. Has 4 usb on the front and in the back. Has vga and hdmi as well.
I've been using the HP Slim Desktop Tower for a little over a week and haven't come across any issues and am quite happy with it. It goes without saying that due to its slim stature, this tower can be placed almost anywhere. I also like that you can place it horizontally if needed. A keyboard and mouse are provided, which are very easy to hookup along with anything else that needs to be plugged in. There are 8 USB ports; 4 in the back and 4 in the front giving easy access to plug things in including a place to put your memory card. I've already transferred some pictures that printed perfectly. The tower has 1 TB of internal storage, which is great, includes a free year of McAfee and uses Windows 10 Home for an operating system. It has Office, but eliminates most of the features after 5 days unless you purchase it. I really like that it has a DVD writer that can also be used as a CD Rom for games, music etc. Just plug in some speakers and enjoy. The HP Slim Desktop Tower S01-pf1013w has many great features and although it doesn't appear to be “lightning” fast, it runs quite efficiently. I absolutely recommend purchasing this tower as it's great for all ages and will meet your basic needs.
I love the compact size of this computer. It takes up very little room. It does not have all the bells and whistles that may be more important to some people but it is more than adequate for surfing the internet, storing and listening to music, checking your email and social media accounts etc. It was very easy to set up. Just plug it in, connect to your monitor and the on screen instruction pretty much takes care of itself. I am not crazy about the DVD tray which feels a bit flimsy and I am not sure what the included bag of screws are for. I had previously been using Windows 8 so it may take a little time to get used to Windows 10. All in all its a decent computer with loads of storage.
I bought this for grandson remote schooling. He was using small laptop, and the 23" monitor we bought MUCH better than 15" laptop or 10" IPAD. For his purpose, school, email, social media, and "some" games worked very well. When he goes back to school will use HUGE storage (1TB)as backup for my photo's/videos/music etc. Comes with a wired keyboard/mouse but I'll pick up wireless when returned. Entire unit weighs 9lbs, great as I'll use in several rooms vs laptop with large monitors! Grandson has no problem with speakers but I'd buy speakers (Like clarity). Has 4 USB (Type A) and One 3in1 Media Card Reader (front). BONUS - DVD writer DVD reads and write CDs and DVDs ( DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW discs interchangeably). Reading some complaints of Set-Up, Slow, Or Other Problems easy to occur with any mfg. Sadly Computers no longer come with Manuals (sigh)! I had an easy time setting this up, as Tower plugs to Monitor, Keyboard to Tower, Mouse to Keyboard. If you NEED help, Good HP phone support. You can also google “ manual for HP S01-pF1013w. A lot of sites will come up but Go onto the HP site. It has the manual and can Runs tests and MAY fix problems. Sorry I can't post the link here. BTW: I always purchase longest possible warranty with ALL my computers because ALL computer parts are made overseas...bad batches happen, nothing like expensive repair year 2 or 3! Worth it!
I was excited about the size of the desktop tower, which is much smaller than any other towers I have seen. Although a space saver, it runs very slow. Turning it on and loading it after I log in takes a few minutes which is lot in my opinions. The webpage that automatically pops up after logging in almost froze when I clicked to close it. If you need to use the computer for work or school often and need a speedy equipment, this isn't for you.
