HP USB-C Dock G5 for business

I've tried the generic "cheap" generic docking stations, even found one that "works" but none of them compared to the power, "strength" and reliability of the HP thunderbolt dock! everything plugs in and works as it should. It has enough ports to connect all my accessories and provides correct power for laptop, I particularly appreciate the longer usb-c cord that connects to my laptop! This keeps my connections and desktop clean and simple. I will be buying another for my home office. I highly recommend !

This is a good dock for HP laptops. I had a Dell dock that didnt work with my HP laptop and this one worked like a charm.

Works as expected and came with a plenty powerful ac adapter! Now my business class laptop lid can be closed and powered on via the dock!

Works great with two monitors. Makes it easy to switch all connections between work and play lap tops.

It is exactly what I needed and works perfectly!

Great docking station for my son's new laptop!

I've been using the HP USB-C Dock G5 for a few months now, and it has quickly become an essential part of my setup. Here's my honest feedback: What I like: • It's incredibly reliable and delivers excellent performance. I can easily run dual monitors (one HDMI + one DisplayPort) at high resolutions with zero lag or flickering. • The build quality feels premium and sturdy. • Plenty of ports: multiple USB-A, USB-C, Ethernet, and audio — everything I need in one compact dock. • Single USB-C cable connection to my laptop makes it super clean and convenient. Setup experience: Setup was genuinely plug-and-play. I connected the power, plugged in my peripherals, attached the USB-C cable to my laptop, and everything worked immediately. No drivers to hunt down or complicated software, it just worked. How I use it daily: I use it as my main home workstation hub. I connect my HP laptop, an external monitor, keyboard, mouse, and external hard drive all through the dock. It turns my laptop into a full desktop experience in seconds, essential for my remote work. Super helpful! Overall, I'm very happy with this dock — it's well worth it for anyone needing a solid, reliable Highly recommend! Thank you, HP! Keep up the great work.

The dock loses connectivity with the monitor intermittently. I have to unplug the USB cable from the HP laptop and wait for it to reconnect to the monitor.

DO NOT buy from this seller. My item DID NOT come in it's original packaging or box. It came in a shipping box with NO plastic or shipping material to protect my item. Scratches are on my product. The item appears to be used and NOT brand new.

I think this is a USED product. Generic box, no protective plastic, no bundled power cord, just loose, dusty thrown in a box and shipped. What happened? I will order same item direct from mfr. Weired.
