H&R Block Tax Software Deluxe + State 2025 for Windows and Mac (Digital Download)

I was happy with the federal return and completed with no problems. However, the Missouri State return was unable to complete properly because the form had no way of adding the deduction of Real Estate taxes paid in the state of Missouri without printing and Mailing in the Tax return. Why was that a problem? Please explain!

I've been using this for 30 years. It is good and gets the job done. It is hard to be excited about a task I wish I didn't have to do, but I guess this makes it bearable. I just wish they'd make a way to get into custom lists easier, and then get back to where you were. That part is so difficult. I also wish they'd offer a reasonable price to someone who has bought this every year since 1996.

I've been using H&R Block software for a few years and have been basically satisfied with how it operates. One frustrating thing, though – for two years in a row, my information has not been carried over to the new return I was starting and so I had to enter it manually.

I subscribe to auto install for the year 2025. I could not install the product because my computer is new and uses a different operating system. Period I had to revert back to my old system on my old computer in order to run this year‘s product. It took many calls to get the problem resolved.

Unfortunately, this year was my absolute worst experience with your software. An early version completely lost all the input I submitted on a return. To date, I do not know if it was due to a hacker. Due to the fact I have never had this experience in the past, I remain a customer. Don't let this happen again!

This product seems to get a little weaker every year with respect to letting you know what it is doing and why - especially with regard to State returns. Fixing the Verification Results was also more difficult than it should be - as some flagged items are hard to find on the underlying forms/worksheets. I might compare to something else next year in order to know if it is still the best choice for me.

I fought this thing for hours, ran out of downloads, had to buy a second copy, all because you didn't clearly include the fact that I had to turn off my threat protection for it to load. How you could not have that key fact clearly included is gross negligent. Have used you people for years for multiple annual filings, but will be real iffy next year. Really disapointed such a key step not made very clear.

We have been buying the same product for years and generally have been satisfied. Although we were able to finish and file our returns, it took much longer than it should have because of two issues. First, there was a glitch in the section to report % of dividends from U.S. Treasury obligations. If the checkbox is NOT CHECKED but there is accidentally an amount in the % box on the next screen, it will still calculate a figure. The second issue had to do with entering an market discount adjustment in the interest income section. A message popped up that indicated we needed to report the interest but not how. The AI help file was useless. There were no instructions and not a logical pathway to guide us on how make the entry. It was only after a lot of hit and miss attempts did we figure it out. We literally wasted about 4 hours tracking down these issues. Bottom line, the software has been good for us over the years but this year, we were a little let down.

I don't get the additional % fee on credit card paying, 2.49% fee as opposed to 1.75% fee directly, GREED! so I didn't go through H&R Block provided link. Otherwise, it was fine, there were some issues that seemed like software bugs having to go back and correct values that were not updated properly within in the software

Dear Walmart Agent. Honestly, I am not pleased with the zero information provided of how to download the app or when. I still do not know if the app was sent to me or will be sent to me or what. Could you please tell me where things stand? Thanks a bunch. Stay well
