This a great product. sturdy and good quality. i had to send them back because the unit I needed them for, even though they are both 1 inch around, was still not compatible. but they were exactly what I was looking for. i wish it had worked for me.

I used these to add height to an existing wire shelving unit in a location with limited vertical space. Worked perfectly!

i have four 6 foot tall sheving units. i had bought extension poles a while back to extend them of them to 7 ft. i needed one last set to balance out the 4th unit. These get that done. Easy to install. Should have bought them long ago. Part of my New Year resolution to stop putting things off. This is checked off my list.

Rod extenders worked with the Target brand system, but not the Seville classics rack I got via Amazon. The rods look and function identically, but the threads at the joint were too small on the Seville unit.

The quality is fine, but it did not fit my 1" shelving nsf pole. The ring was slightly too lose fitting and not tight enough.

I bought these to try to extend my Whitmor heavy duty garment rack after determining that the poles and those on the rack were 1” diameters. While the diameters do match, the threading is different, so it's not possible to use these with Whitmor products.

I got these to extend the height of a shelving unit I have. They have a connector on one end, but I needed one for the other end too, so I also bought connectors for that. The connectors, same brand, do not fit these extenders. I cannot use these and would like to return both.

I got these to extend my HDX cart I got at Home Depot and make it into a mini closet, but they were too small and came right out/didn't screw in. Which sucks because these were the only extenders I actually found.

HSS and Wal-mart have decided to sell their products in a bewildering array of colors, heights and pole sizes. None of their products fit each other and there are non existent instructions on which size addition fits which shelf. The clothing racks are apparently not designed for adults as adult clothes will not fit properly.
