Stabilizer remedies UV-induced chlorine decrease
After undergoing a late-Spring algae bloom, I researched remedies to conquer this issue. Among those listed included cyanuric acid, which is the main component of this HTH pool stabilizer. The UV rays in my desert location apparently erode my chlorine very quickly. Since buying and applying this product, I notice that my pool has been cleaner, for longer between chlorine doses, than in the pre-application days. I will continue to order and use this product — I am now in my second bag – to ensure that my pool water remains stabilized, clean, and blue.

Works as it should.
We got hth pool strips that we dunk and take a picture of and it'll tell us where our levels sit and if we need to bring any levels up. If they aren't where they need to be it'll give us suggestions for what we need and how much. This was purchased because of that and works great.

Effective, Fast Dissolving, Easy to Use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our pool is exposed to an abundant amount of direct sunlight throughout the day. Moreover, the pool water always had a cloudy appearance. HTH Stabilizer has done a great job of countering the sun's effects, by buffering and protecting the chlorine in the pool water from the harsh UV rays. This has helped keep chlorine levels stable, and the pool water cleaner for a longer length of time. Our pool, now looks crystal clear. The product is fast dissolving, easy and uncomplicated to use, with simple and straightforward directions. I recommend HTH Stabilizer, because it is a useful and effective product for outdoor swimming pool maintenance.

Pool chemicals can be very expensive, especially for startup chemicals. Walmart offered the best price I have ever seen.

Good product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for our above ground pool. I just needed to measure the right amount for our pool size and I just put it right into the pool with the pump running. I'm not sure if it's working to extent the chlorine life but I will definitely give it another try. Very easy to use once you figure out how much you need for your pool
