HTH Pool Care Chlorine Stabilizer — Granules, 4 lb — Pool Chemical Stabilizer for Sunlight Protection

Pretty large sized bag of chlorine stabilizer. Affordable priced too. Worked well for my above ground pool this season. It would have been nice if it came with a measuring cup inside the bag, but that is more of a personal want than a need. I didn't need to use it that much so I have a lot leftover if anyone needs some..

After undergoing a late-Spring algae bloom, I researched remedies to conquer this issue. Among those listed included cyanuric acid, which is the main component of this HTH pool stabilizer. The UV rays in my desert location apparently erode my chlorine very quickly. Since buying and applying this product, I notice that my pool has been cleaner, for longer between chlorine doses, than in the pre-application days. I will continue to order and use this product — I am now in my second bag – to ensure that my pool water remains stabilized, clean, and blue.

Does the job. Recently emptied and refilled pool so added some stabilizer.

Excellent! So much faster to dissolve than my previously purchased brand!

This product comes in a resealable 4lb bag and was easy to measure out following the instructions on the bag. It dissolves quicker in my opinion than other brands and does the job of getting the stabilizer levels higher. Overall great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] HTH stabilizer helps make chlorine tablets last longer in my aboveground pool. I am in East TX and my pool is in direct sun most of the day. In the am when it is best to swim (before the UV Ray's are at extreme) the water was testing for too much chlorine. At night it didn't have enough. After the sun zapped it all day it was gone. Now with HTH stabilizer we are able to control the chlorine. We used to have to adjust the chlorine daily to make up for fluctuations. The pool is much easier to keep balanced and ready to swim in anytime of day. I also noticed it helped keep the chlorine stable during several days worth of storms. We just had to slightly increase the chlorine. When before a week of rain meant we had to shock the pool. The one thing I would change is the package. It is prone to tearing and I had to store it in a separate bag and move it to an air tight container. It split when first opening it. I will keep this in my regular pool chemicals from now on. Big time saver and the pool is ready to go and safe to enjoy more than ever before.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In lower Alabama, we tend to get a lot of rain that causes the pools stabilization to dilute. I frequently drain the pool when we have a big storm and then I test the pool chlorine. If the the balance is off I add the stabilizer and it does the job every tome!
