This works. I like to vacuum while in the pool so this is based on that. If you vacuum above ground, definitely use a better pole for stability. This picks up the leaves and any sand/dirt in the pool, especially after a Florida thunderstorm. I was skeptical but so far, so good. Charge lasts quite a while as well.
I was skeptical but this thing actually works really good! Can't beat the price either. It sifts sand and algae just fine. I also add some poly fill to the filter to sift more and that works even more as a filter. We only have a 14ft pool but it's perfect for us.
Works very well in my pool!! Great suction! Should've bought this years ago! Picks up little river rock pieces that make it in my pool from my deck! I immediately ordered extra filters only to have on hand thru walmart.com in case this model is discontinued or updated. I open canister after each use and clean filter. Mostly my pool pump/ filter cleans pool. Green algae will attach to walmart Pool vac also so my pool filter stays cleaner!! Thank you Walmart for being here for us!!!!
This little guy is great for quick cleanings! Charge time is great- lasted long enough to go over my pool twice. It doesn't pick up the larger debris, but that's ok- I just got back in with the net and scoop it out. Just used it today for the 2nd time. The review about the bottom warping- I can see how that happened- it's a rubber bottom- so I will definitely be storing in a climate controlled area! I changed the pole out with my other pole, because it's metal and more stable than the one it comes with. Suction is great! Love that I don't have to hook up hoses and involve the pump to get it done! I'm happy with my purchase.
The ease of sweeping up leaves and debris was the best selling point. It even works in the kiddie pool but you must have the entire main vacuum under water. Not that difficult but must be aware. I have an above ground 5k gallon Intel pool with rounded sides. It works very well. Cleaned in little time! Taking this apart to clean the filter in the kitchen sink is easy. Best versatile pool vacuum Ive seen that does not use the debris catcher pressure from pool! Its very light. Picks up leaves as well as small particles. Battery charges in no time. Lasts several uses! Pieces together easily.
I only used the vacuum twice but right away I was impressed with the suction. This thing really sucks. I was also impressed with the filter. It isn't a thin net type filter. It is more like a tighly woven cotton filter. If it holds up for a while, it will have been well worth the money. This is the 4th time I purchased a cordless/hoseless vacuum for our above ground pool in the past 10 years The 1st 3 only seemed to last 1-2 seasons before crapping out.Hopefully, this one will last us at least 2 years.
Definitely works. Helps clean pool but the pole is VERY FLIMSY! Will break and the blue vacuum thing on the end is made of a flexible plastic so Be careful how you store it even for for few minutes. Just make sure it's laying flat or it will bend and get stuck in a wopsided way then it's harder to use on the bottom of the pool. I just set a heavy candle on it and it laid back flat thankfully. The vacuum definitely works and it is quite heavy, especially underneath the water yet hard to keep on the bottom of the pool. It does work though just gotta get more familiar with it.
The pool vacuum itself does pick up the sand or dirt from the bottom of my pool liner. Do I think it picks up 100%? Probably not. But for the price it's adequate! It makes a difference on the pool liner floor for sure. What I disliked is assembling it; it looked easy, but the problem was that the pole parts it came with sole fit some didn't and it had to be inserted to the actual vacuum head with pressure. I thought it was going to break! Also removing the filter and closing everything back up is also a little difficult it has to be exact otherwise it falls off or the vacuum falls apart in half. It's not a smooth open and close thing. It takes me a couple times to get it right to close it after cleaning the filter.
I got this to make cleaning my 52"×18' pool easier to clean. it picks up okay, but it kicks up more dirt and dead algae than it picks up. after the filer gets clogged (in less than a few minutes) it stops picking up. the charge lasts a few cleanings, which is alright. I wouldn't recommend this product. I have to stop every 6-7 minutes to spray the filter and it puts more debris into the pool than it actually picks up.
Looks good on the box, easy assembly, however using it is horrible debris gets stuck in the center of the vacuum blocking the suction. Terrible design...I want my money back. I have to stop vacuuming disassemble the device to clear the vacuum. Ridiculous
