We recently started taking care of our own pool chemistry and after exploring several options, this product is much more economical than buying from pool companies. We also purchased accompanying muriatic acid from Walmart. Although you have to check chlorine levels often (about 3 times/week), this did a great job for us than hiring a company maintain the pool. Also it does not add additional calcium or cyanuric acid. Our previous pool maintenance company used stabilized chlorine tabs that significantly raised cyanuric acid levels above 150!

Best value for chlorine on the market. Period. (More work than tablets, obviously, or a higher concentration liquid, but cheaper than anything else on a chlorine normalized basis). This will always be my go-to.

this liquid chlorine is all you need for your swimming pool other than a little clarifier every now and then. is the water green? add a gallon of this is it still green? add another one it'll clear up. then vacuum your pool and add a solar floating ionizer it's all you'll ever need.

I don't use this for a pool; I use it to keep my basin and shower drains clear. A plumber put me on to this: Pour 1/2 gallon into the drain. Let it sit overnight, then run hot water for 5 minutes. All the hair, toothpaste and other gunk will have been dissolved and washed away. I do this every 6 months. Works wonders.

I buy this chlorine it works just as good as the refill I get at the pool store. As a matter of fact it works even better. It is also cheaper in price. Keeps my pool clean %26 clear. I like to put a gallon in my pool after it rains. I like to stock up on these. I highly recommend.

Instruction of amount always varies to different pool size, temperature etc. Figured out one gallon of 10% chlorine is comparable to two 3" tablets. It is certainly more expensive but it's all dissolved chlorine. So it works more effective than tablets, plus it is debris free. My 15000 gallon is absolutely clear with weekly two gallons.

These two gallons were 231 days old! Liquid chlorine starts losing it's potential when it is bottled. Always check the date. Don't accept anything more than 50 days old.
