Instruction of amount always varies to different pool size, temperature etc. Figured out one gallon of 10% chlorine is comparable to two 3" tablets. It is certainly more expensive but it's all dissolved chlorine. So it works more effective than tablets, plus it is debris free. My 15000 gallon is absolutely clear with weekly two gallons.
Pros - It's concentrated bleach. I use it to shock my pool. It tends to run cheaper than the pool supply store. Consistent strength and quality. Con- packaging - despite the child safe lids and "chemical proof seal" the bleach will pour out if the container tips over. quite often the seal is corroded. Wish they would sell it in boxes of 4...then it wouldn't tip over in the car.
This is a good strong brand of pool shock chlorine. Be sure to use it within a few months of purchase. It does not last forever. I prefer to get these delivered when I am too busy to take my refill jugs to the pool store. I use the entire jug in my pool at night when I need to perform a massive shock and scrub. This is usually after a big rain or when I have been away and neglected the water chemistry.
love the product liquid dissoles and blends well ...but I would like to have a conversation with whomever designed the pull off safety seal...it's nearly impossible to use as designed..you end up picking seal off with your fingernails thus getting chlorine on your fingers !
Have used this for 2 years with my new pool and it is amazing. Never an algae issue or cloudy water, clear pool 24/7. I also have an automatic chlorine feeder and together they are amazing. Use one gallon per week to shock except for hot summer rainy weeks I add 2 gallons per week. I have a pebble tec 15,000 pool and it’s wonderful for it.
This product has made our lives much easier when cleaning our Airbnb jacuzzi. Just a little splash of this product in the water and, clean as a whistle! Even the filters get cleaned without removing them. Fantastic! I highly recommend this product.
It does not seems to be very strong...Did not see an immediate strength from it...Don't know if it had been on the shelf too long and had lots its strength...seems to disperse weakly....Might not been very fresh...I don't know what the shelf-life is? Perhaps the bottles I purchased were not fresh?
These two gallons were 231 days old! Liquid chlorine starts losing it's potential when it is bottled. Always check the date. Don't accept anything more than 50 days old.
I keep ordering the SET of 2 bottles that come in a box and I keep getting separate bottles what I can't store one on top of each other like the boxes but customer care doesn't care and they want me to return them to get it right BUT I place the order delivery so I don't have to go to the store. So, there you go. Walmart been Walmart: BAD
I ordered 2 packs of 2 gallons each (4 gallons total), but instead I only received 3 gallons. When I called Walmart right away, I was told they could offer me a $10 coupon, but I would have to spend $15 to use it. On top of that, I would also have to pay for shipping. So instead of simply receiving what I paid for, I’m being asked to spend more money on items I don’t need, plus shipping fees, just to make up for Walmart’s mistake. When I complained, they increased the offer to a $15 coupon, but I would have to spend $25 to use it. Why am I being forced to spend more money to fix a problem Walmart caused? This is unfair and very disappointing.
