I've tried several pool shock products over the years, and this one is by far the easiest and most reliable. I don't have to deal with measuring out messy powders. Within a few hours, the water looks noticeably clearer and fresher. What really sets this shock apart is that it doesn't cause chlorine lock. I've had issues in the past with stabilized shocks building up too much conditioner in the water, but this one keeps my chlorine levels responsive and easy to balance. If you want a shock that works fast, keeps the water sparkling, and doesn't leave you fighting chemical issues afterward, this is a great choice. I'll definitely be buying it again!
This shock works, amazingly, as do all HTH products, in my opinion. It does exactly what it is supposed to do, and it does diss dissolve extremely fast, faster than powder. Also prevents chlorine lock. So yeah, does exactly what it says it does… Are you serious OK? what else do you really want from a product? So yes, five stars.
I used this for years for our pool. It works great and kept our pool clean and sparkly. This bottle I bought to keep on hand for disasters. It is a stable form of chlorine to use for disinfectant or to purify drinking water.
HTH shock works well, even in the South's most intense heat. The container with the handle is much easier to use than the pail, making measuring easy.
Have used this a few times on my 20,000-gallon inground pool. It works great. Followed the instruction label and now my water is crystal clear again.
This is the best shock I'm been using it for over a year and it does a great job on our pool !
The very best way to start your pool in the summer and keep it clean!
OVERALL GOOD PRODUCT DURING WARMER WEATHER. DOES TAKE BIT LONGER CLEAR OUT BUT ONCE RUNS CYCLE IS GOOD PRODUCT. I USED TO OCCASIONLY CLEAN POOL COOLER MONTHS DONT RECOMMEND COLD WEATHER DOES NOT DISSOLVE VERY WELL MUST BRUSH MAKE SURE DOESNT JUST FLOW TO BOTTOM.
followed directions.... for days..... does not clarify water... total waste of 30 bucks! and two weeks later pool is still unusable
Did not change chlorine reading at all.
