Intex Deluxe 800 GPH+ Wall-Mounted Swimming Pool Surface Automatic Skimmer

This is a great add on for an easy set pool. Super easy to assemble and easy to clean. Have your skimmer net ready when you remove the bucket tho- there will be bugs and small debri that were trapped under the bucket that will leak out into your pool. Not really a big deal tho. I use it on my 18 ft bestway above ground pool. This is the second one Ive purchased- so i cant speak for the longevity of the product- but it does such a good job I bought it again when M my other one needed replaced- so that says something about how well the product works. And for the price- I dont mind having to replace it every few years. It really does a good job keeping the surface of the water free of bugs and leaves and any other debri that ends up in your pool.

This purchase was to replace the INTEX Wall Mount Skimmer we bought 5 years ago. This products quality is fantastic for our 20 Foot Round above ground Intex pool. We bought this one again because we were satisfied with this skimmers performance at removing leaves and bugs from the waters surface. Very easy installation and removal when shutting the pool down at the end of pool season.

our pool is only a week or so old but thanks to the rain it had gotten quite a bit of debri and pollen in it. overnight it was all clreared up, works well! we have a 14x14x40something or other above ground pool. we did upgrade the pool pump one level higher than the one that came with it as well to aide in cleanliness with the amount of use its about to get.

We purchased a summer waves 18' x 42" easy set pool that came with a filter pump, vacuum, and skimmer with telescoping pole. We had an intex brand formerly that was almost exactly the same, same size, same set up, and came with the same accessories only the pump was a little larger and it came with a surface skimmer like this. I was unsure if this brand just didn't perform (as far as water circulation goes) as well as the intex brand. I saw the intex skimmer basket online and it was pretty inexpensive, so I ordered it and in a few days hooked it up and it has made a big difference in how clean our pool has stayed between vacuuming. Very satisfied with my purchase.

This product work well and fix my coleman 15' above ground swimming pool. Does a great job in cleaning the water. Previously, I did it with a net and very hard to do. Should of purchased with along time ago or purchased a pool with a skimmer in the first place.

I just purchased this skimmer and I love it! We have an intex 18x48 above ground pool and I was constantly having to use my net. This makes it so much easier for me, less work. It fit just right onto the side of our pool. Came with different attachments to chose from and test to see which works with yours. I would recommend this to anyone with an above ground pool.

The filters and such that come with your pool are fine for filtering the water itself, but the leaves, bugs and other things that blow into the water are not going to get filtered because the inlet is under the water line. Using the skimmer, it will pull all the floating debris from the pool very quickly. This model works even better than the last one I had as the middle ring floats perfectly so as the water lever rises and falls with evaporation and filling, the floating center keeps it right at the perfect lever for skimming the surface. As the title says, I won't have a pool without one of these.

I used this on my Intex 14'x42" round pool. Very effective. I did however have to plug up one of the two outlet ports to make sure there was enough suction. I'm using the Intex 1600gph pump, so even with the upgraded pump I still had to plug one outlet port. Not a problem though. The skimmer catches everything on top. I would very much recommend to everyone. For the price and efficiency.

Got to skim the surface of our stock tank pool. Clearly not the intended use (as smallest mounting bracket is still too high/big) but by using a clamp on the side, works well enough :)

This started out really great but after 15 mins or so it stopped working. The suction it had completely went away. I even watched some videos to make sure it was set up properly. I cleaned the filter and made sure everything was still attached correctly. Very disappointing after having high hopes
