HTH Pool Care Shock Advanced — Granules, 6 Pack (6 lb total) — Pool Shock Treatment for Weekly Pool Sanitizing

does an ok job be careful which ones you get bc some treat like 12000 gallons and others treat like 13500 gallons but if you're not careful while looking at the package you may not even realize until after you purchased. this does an ok job keeping my pool chlorinated. I am going to try a different brand next pool season bc I kept having reoccurring algae issues and needing to use 2-3 bags a week when I could use just 1 bag a week last pool season. all my other chemicals were balanced. I do like the no chlorine lock feature.

In this day and age having something be what it shows to be advertised online and having it work the way it's supposed to shouldn't have to be exemplary, but these days it is and this was one of those products that was advertised correctly and worked exactly how it said it would bravo

The shock worked quickly and efficiently for opening and closing my pool. I use 2 to open and 1 to close and 1 once a month. When I open the next year, it is very easy to get it up and running since the water is nice and clear from the previous treatments.

This is our "go to" shock that we use about every 10 days all season. Our pool is about 15000 gallons. We actually use just 1 bag at a time and add some algaecide and our pool stays in control, even in the extreme summer heat. This brand is currently the best buy at Walmart and premeasured is convenient.

We've had great results with HTH Pool Care Shock Advanced. The individual 1-lb bags make it easy to measure and use for regular pool maintenance, and it does a good job of clearing up the water and keeping it looking clean and fresh. The granules dissolve well, and the 6-pack is convenient to have on hand throughout the swimming season. Reliable, simple to use, and does exactly what we need it to do. I would definitely purchase it again.

I've been using HTH Shock advanced treatment for about 2 years. It's extremely effective. Keeps our pool clean and algae free. I use the HTH 4step pool care program and it's been great. The quality and performance are really good. I've had fantastic results since starting with the HTH. Also the price of this particular product is fantastic! Their chlorine tablets are also great. (The price is amazing too) Highly recommend will continue to use in the routine maintenance of our pool.

The price kills me. It's chlorine. How can they charge this much for chlorine or any type cleaner for that matter. This is ridiculous we should be taxing billionaires 90% especially these corporations.

THIS IS AN ITEM THAT SOME PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES NEED IMMEDIATELY IF IT GETS SHIPPED YOUR POOL WOULD BE GREEN BY THEN WHEN YOU ASK DO THEY HAVE ANY POOL CHEMICALS. THIS IS WHAT YOU ET TOLD, IT WILL BE ON THE SHELF UNTIL THE CHRISTMAS STUFF COMES IN. CHRISTMAS AT THE END OF JULY AND AUGUST WHEN ITS 90 DEGREES OUTSIDE IS RIDICULOUS

We have used this for years. Not really sure if we received older or outdated product but we ended up fighting yellow (mustard) algae all season even after super shocking with 4 bags. The last 3 swimmable weeks we finally tried a different brand, killed the algae and were able to enjoy our pool.

bait and switch, false advertising, they knew this ancient item was pure garbage, 3 year old freshness label, not as pictured. worthless and even worse, trying to get Walmart to make it right. hours of wasted time for less than $100 bucks. disturbing how little they care. promised a refund Twice, nothing. had to buy more out of pocket. Customer service for us, Walmart members is non existent. who will compensate us for the hours lost and the now green pool?
