So impressed with this vacuum.

jtnkt August 3, 2016

We have an Intex 16X 32 Ultra Frame pool that we purchased a couple months ago; the bottom was littered with debris. It took me about 5 minutes to put this vacuum together and hook up to our pool, which impressed my husband. After running the filter pump for a few hours with the vacuum, our pool bottom was sparkling clean again. Best addition to the pool yet!

This vacuum beats the higher priced ones !

heidi June 9, 2021

I was hesitant to order this as intex doesn't have a good track record but much to my surprise they have listened to customers and this product is better then the bigger companies out there! It was the easiest to set up and within 5 mins from unboxing to set up and it was ready for the pool . It also will fit with a. Non intex pool . Just a FYI. I would highly recommend this . Good job to Inrex for upping their game and making higher quality products ! This is a game changer . My hands thank you no more manually vacuuming the pool :)

Can be difficult at first but stick with it

benknuckleheadedupb4 May 22, 2016

So when I opened the box a small plastic piece fell out so I could tell something was broken. The piece was so small I figured it was nothing and continued putting the cleaner together. So I hooked it up to my filter and put it in the pool and nothing happened. It didn't move an inch. I figured my filter wasn't strong enough (as it was the wimpy one that came with the pool) so I upgraded to a 2800 gph sand filter at the price of $169.99. Great filter by the way. I hooked that filter up to it and still nothing. So I took it out of the pool and took it all apart and found that the jets were not facing the right direction because that broken piece I previously mentioned was a small tab that holds the sprayer into place so it sprays in the correct direction. So I got the sprayer aligned in the right way and hot glued it in place. I let it dry for the night and put it in the pool and it is working perfectly. I love it. If it slows down just clean out the net and it will work well again. Definitely recommend.

We love our Pool Vacuum!

RueteuR May 24, 2016

$60 for this unit. $100 for the manual rechargeable vacuum, The one you walk behind like a your vacuuming the carpet. My son and I are having a hard time coming up with a name for our little vacuum robot. I was concerned about complaints that it would get stuck and stop working after the first day. They are unjustified. I have watched this little guy get stuck and then work its way out, every time. This unit operates on the pool filter pumps discharge pressure, using eductor pump jets to propel it through the water. The eductor creates a vacuum which in turns picks up debris from the bottom. Note: We are using the pump that came with the 22' pool

Excellent Product

Matt1979 May 30, 2016

Wish I would have purchased this 5 years ago. Love It. Works GREAT! My pool stays spotless. Easy to install and take apart. But you do need to have a Sand Filter. The pumps that come with the above ground pools will not work. ( There Junk Anyways). I have to backwash more but it's well worth it. For the enexpensive price it's a must. Well done Intex.

Great for Intex pools

TERRI July 23, 2021

For the price you can't beat it. I have an Intex pool system and tried an inexpensive automatic vacuum cleaner, it just wouldn't work. This cleaner works off the pool inlet, bypassing all the issues a vacuum creates. Initially, there were issues, I thought of sending it back but discovered a small filter in the housing that attaches the hose to the pool inlet, removed it and WOW. This thing darts around the pool like a race car.

Flow rate of 1200-.1600

pooltime May 26, 2015

Flow rate of 1200-.1600 just isn't strong enough to make it move. You will need a pump with a flow rate of 2100 or higher. It is awesome after connecting it to a pump with a higher flow rate!! It will do the job!!! You will be returning it if you have a pump flow rate 1500 or lower.

Intex pool sweeper

jill May 29, 2026

Received the sweeper with a broken leg and wheel could not be fixed on it . Didn't even open anything put it back in the box and took it back to Walmart, they said I would have to wait on the vendor to give me the money back and should take a couple of days, been a week and still no refund! So beware of that!

Doesn't last six months

Tammy March 16, 2021

I purchased this product in September 2020. We used it September and October then winterize the pool removing it and storing it of course. It is now March 2021 and I have set the pool up for this summer as a use and this Intex Polaris no longer works. The store I purchased it at has a 90 day return policy so it can't be returned there. I contacted Intex and their return policy is also 90 days. So basically and only ran for two months and no longer works. I would not recommend this product unless you intend to buy one a couple of times a year.

Not what expected

Fl04 June 13, 2016

The vacuum is actually a blower first of all!Blows small debris around instead of sucking them out.Every wrinkle stops it and it doesn't correct it's movement.Overall super disappointed in it!
