HTH 3-inch Advanced Chlorine Tablets — Tablet, 5 lb — Pool Sanitizer for Routine Chlorination

I am on my 3rd year of using this product! Although my pool is small, it is not covered and I get a lot of pollen, dirt, and leaf debrie I have not once had an algae problem because this product works! It keeps algae away, PH balance is good, very good product.

I use this every summer in my pool. Dissolves slowly over a weeks time. Helps keep water sanitized and clear. Low chlorine odor. The cost of these has increased significantly over the past few years.

if I did not have to get these for my pool I would not. it's extremely expensive for very little. the only reason I got at this time it was because it was on sale

I usually buy the 5 pound tub but this calculated out a LOT cheaper. Took 2 days for fed ex delivery. 42 tabs were whole. There were 9 half pieces and countless chipped off pieces and about a cup full of chlorine powder were in the bottom. The price also decreased $24 over the 2 days so I am returning and reordering at the sale price. Walmart would not adjust the price. Hopefully the next order won't be crushed and broken.

Junk. First of all you need a PhD to get the container open. It claims 5%23s. It is 2%23s at best and once I finally got it open there were about 6 tabs in there. 3 were broken and the bottom full of chlorine “dust”. Waste of money. I will return this. I'd say someone used some and returned it but judging by the level of difficulty to open the container I'd say I was just short sheeted right out the gate. This is a waste.

Tabs were old and mostly broken and falling apart. seems like vendor getting rid of old stock on internet orders. Tabs bought in store are new and not broken. If you get damaged tabs,return them immediately. No sense of paying for something that wouldn't work in your pool.

item was opened it was not a full order the tablets were not wrapped i ordered the exact same item from Amazon and received the correct order unopened and the correct wrapped tablets

No one likes to feel like a sucker. And that's how I felt when I opened the 5-pound container. It was half full with only 10 tabs. I was so disappointed I actually got on the scale with it to check the weight. It was only 4 pounds. I have bought other 5-pound brands and at least the container is full. Is this really how HTH wants their customers to feel? If you're going to shrink your contents, at least put them in a bucket that looks full...it may still be "bait and switch" but at least you feel less like a sucker.

Received my shipment today. 5 lb. was $52.99. I opened the container to find a few broken pieces, that no way was 5 lbs. I put it on my bathroom scale, and even with the plastic container didn't even register 1 lb. Very unhappy first time customer of these 3" chlorine tabs.
