this stuff works great it's waterproofing as it says but watch out unless your boots are already dark it does stain them which can look pretty cool if you do it the right way you end up applying a couple layers as it is which can seem tedious but it's absolutely worth it and it looks nice when you're done but look at it as a stain

This is my first time using this product and I am very pleased with it. I used a very soft toothbrush in applying it to my shoes. Surprisingly there is no odor at all. Pine tar and beeswax screams SMELLY but that is not the case. I applied it exactly as directed. Then after all night rest I applied it again. It buffs up just like shoe polish and looks great on my black leather shoes. I will expect them to be waterproof and will reapply as necessary.

Looks like it will work just fine. It did make the boots slightly darker, but they are softer and more comfortable.

I am happy with using a locally made product that has been around for 100 years. They say they dont make em like they used to. But follow the directions and apply when your boot leather gets dry. You'll have a happy pair of boots.

Huberd's shoe grease does what it's suppose to do--condition the leather. That's what I bought it for. Completely satisfied with the purchase. I've read reviews in which people complained about the smell of the grease. For me, it's not offensive. If you've ever used Packer's Pine Tar soap, you'll know the fragrance.

This was purchased to condition some new civil war reenactment gear. It did a great job on some leather that was pretty flaked and overall stiff. Aft a couple applications, the leather was much better. This is a little expensive for the amount you get, but should last awhile and does a good job.
