I'm an aged retiree of a generation where nearly every little boy had a Huffy bike at some point in time. This little beginner bike seems to be well made and a great bargain. We're pretty certain that we're going to make a 5 year old very happy on Christmas morning. Thanks Huffy!
Zero complaints so far. A touch big for my 5yr old but he is small for his age. I like the lightweight frame since he is used to a stride bike knock off that only weighed 5lbs. The EZ build thing was SO easy. Took me less than 10 minutes to click the whole thing together. Seems like it should last a while and is well made!
I bought this bike for my grandson for his Christmas present. He absolutely loves it. It was just a tad too big (40 inches tall) but he has grown into (now 43 inches tall). He loves going on bike rides. It was super easy to assemble. I would highly recommended this bike for first time riders.
This bike is great! My son (4) learned to ride it within 30 minutes of having it. The training wheels are very sturdy so I don't have to worry about him tipping over easily. It took him a little while to get a hang of the back peddle brakes so I had him practice going around the kitchen island, and stood in his way abruptly to have him practice braking when instructed to. I am now comfortable enough to take him to the streets. Next step will be taking the training wheels off 😁
My little town does a Secret Santa program every Christmas. I alway give into my community. One of the most wanted items was a bike. I saw this one online and knew it would be something any little man child would want. I bought a boy version and a girl version. I was satisfied with the way it looked and the assembly.
My husband and I bought this for our grandson for Christmas. I was lucky to find this in stock at a good price. I had ordered another bike and a day after I placed my order the store cancelled my order because they were out of stock. I guess they didn't check things out first. Anyhow, this bike was a little bigger so that was actually better as it turned out. Our grandson was almost 7 years old at the time, and within the height for this bike. But he is growing fast so he may not get to ride it long. The bike was also already assembled so that was a plus for us. It looks just like the picture and seems pretty sturdy. All bikes for smaller kids have coaster wheels now, so that is good. Our little guy really loved the bike. I would recommend this bike.
The bike only lasted a month. Within a week of my 4 year old riding it the chain kept falling off, we would fix it multiple times a day. About a week later, the entire bearing of the bike broke while he was riding it. The pedals fell out. He wasn’t extremely hard on the bike %26 was supervised at all times while riding it. Complete waste of money.
we have had the box in our garage intil tonight when we assembled for Christmas and the box appeared to have been open already as it has a cut all the way down and then re taped. Then as we were putting it together we noticed that there is a whole entire training wheel missing. It isn't the end of the world but its literally how my youngest depends to ride bikes so now the gift isn't usable on Christmas since stores are now closed
These might actually be decent bicycles if only they weren’t so poorly assembled in the stores. I had one delivered to my house on Black Friday direct from the store in Canton, Texas. It had missing, broken and wobbly mismatched parts and a big reg tag attached that said “DO NOT SELL, Hold For Repair”. So I was obviously given someone else’s defective return which I then had to load into my truck and take back to the store. I was really hoping to just get a bike still in the box and assemble it myself so I could avoid getting one that’s poorly assembled at the store. However when you order online, they don’t give you that option. After returning the defective bike to the store there was no apology, and I was not given the option to do an even exchange for a new one in the box. My only options were to get the purchase amount refunded to my credit card or put it on a gift card, then purchase another one. This time I ordered the bike for pickup at the store. Again, there’s no option to request a bike in the box. When I went to pick it up they brought out an assembled bike. I pointed out to the associate at the store that the caps were missing off the tire stems. It really doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence when every one of these bikes assembled in the store seem to have issues or missing parts.
I was being charged by angi for bike assembly $56 sheculde for may 3 and i picked up the bike may 1st ....i would like that assembly fee refunded as i suspect you gave me a floor model that was already assembled
