A very good high velocity fan with a much lower price tag than most; the gloss black gives it a sleek, attractive appearance; it provides a knob for adjusting the speed versus the pull chain, which I prefer. I am very please with this fan!
At first I was not sure if this fan. I did like it being a pedestal but was not sure about the plastic blades. I waited for several weeks to write this review. I do like it, especially the remote! Blows just enough and makes some white noise on low, a little more on medium and high. I would recommend this product!
It's darn hot out! This fan is so great it helps out our overworked air conditioner. It was easy to put together. It's also solid, no tipping or falling over for this one. The packaging was good and everything well protected. Be sure to snag 2 AAA batteries if you get it because it doesn't come with them for the remote. By the way, the remote has a nice little holder you can attach to the stand or even hook up on a wall nearby. The air flow is nice and it has 3 speeds as well as a timer if you need it. It will come in handy at night if you only need it a couple of hours or so before the temperature inside cools down and you don't need it running all night. I definitely give it 2 thumbs up, 5 starts. That's just my two cents!
Love, love, love this fan… it is a very powerful and sturdy. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great fan. You won't be disappointed!
I ordered two fans to compare. This one and the Firenze(?). Hands down this one was superb! In comparison, the base was heavy and sturdy. The other fans base was paper thin plastic like a cheap plastic dinner plate you could break with two hands. This fan would easily tip over. Hurricanes motor was quiet and put out plenty of air on lowest setting. The Firenze fan smelled like something was melting, made a ticking noise and barely a difference in air speed on high setting. Unfortunately both fans will be going back as I was gifted a fan. I wish I could have kept the Hurricane! Buy it
This is a great pedestal fan with 3 speeds. It puts out a lot of air on Low, the other settings med %26 high are not needed. Though they do make more air flow, I just need them. Project Farm on youtube tested about 15 fans, his findings were this Hurricane fan was good for the price range.
this fan is one of the best we have ever had really lows out cold air we are planning topurchase another one for my sons shed/ weight room would revomend this fan
So far one of the Best fans ever for us and we've had a lot. Walmart shipping was outstanding very fast. Thank you I highly recommend the fan the price and Walmart shipping outstanding
At this point we are very satisfied with this purchase and would have given a 5 star rating but it is too soon to rate durability. We had another brand name unit that did well and died in one year. Hum
I wanted a "High velocity" fan to remove warm air in the house and pull in cool air in the evening during the spring evenings. My 30 year old high velocity fans move much more air than this one does and are just a little louder. I wanted a pedestal fan and thought it would be more quiet and stronger. The cord should also be a couple of feet longer just because you loose length to the height of it. It certainly doesn't stand up to it's name of "hurricane" and "pro series".
