HydroTech 5/8 in. Diameter x 25 ft. Expandable Burst-Proof Hose

First one like this, no fighting a heavy hose!! Old 75' that was stiff and leaking replaced. . I'm going to need another 50' No fighting. Hopefully it will last few years!!

We gambled on this because the price was pretty high, but all of the reviews were good and it looked really durable. I didn't see anything about the 10 year warranty and that makes this purchase a game changer! And no-brainer! It's incredibly durable, the fittings at both ends are quality and I'm one and it's actually brass I think. The feel of it is strong without being heavy. Perfect for our needs! And add a plus, it's made in the USA. What more do you need to know?

I absolutely love it! I have carpal tunnel syndrome and arthritis. I was able to wash my car without hurting my hands. It expands and lengthens as the water fills the hose. I especially like the turn off valve at the end of the hose. The ends of the hose thread easily on to my faucet and nozzles. I would definitely recommend this hose.

Compared to a rubber hose, this hose shrinks down to a small, manageable size for easy storage. This hose does not kink like a rubber hose. The quality is good. The price is higher than a regular hose, but more user friendly. The hose retains water after use, so it must be drained to shrink down to its smallest size.

I am 88 years old and handicpped and I could not for the life of me get the hose connected to the faucet without it spurting water all over. I ended up having to call a friend to do it for me. He had no problem but then he's not a senior. That is my only complaint about the hose so far although I have only used it one time so far.

I liked the idea of this hose, with no kinks, and ease of expanding. It's a great concept, but it does not last…at all! For the price ($50.00), I expected it to last for years, but it lasted less than a week. The plastic hose end failed.. and this “ burst proof hose”, did indeed burst. 😫

I bought two of these a week or so apart. The first one broke within one week and the second one was already broken when I opened the package. It was obvious that the second one had been returned and never checked before being sent back out to me. The part that connects the hose to the faucet is only glued together and breaks off. I took both of these to return at the Walmart store in Hackettstown, NJ. The one that still had the packaging was sent back to the seller -- Walmart wouldn't return my money. I now await the credit to my credit card the company that sent me the hose. The one that I had no packaging for, Walmart would not accept as a return. I had paid cash so I don't have a charge on my credit card and I threw the receipt away when I thought I had a good hose, before it broke. I am now out about $104.00 and have no hose or credit to my charge card. I think people should be told that you can't always return to Walmart what you buy from Walmart!

This hose was a huge disappointment. I bought it because of how it's supposed to be lightweight. I bought it to replace a regular 25 foot hose. It says expandable, but it's extremely hard to maneuver and stretch out when it's filled with water and even though the hose was supposed to be 50 foot, because of how hard it was to pull out, it was closer to 20 feet. We went back to the old hose and gave this one away.

I think the recalled these. I like the collapsable hoses to stow away. These claimed a 10yr warranty. I bought one and it instantly leaked before any water even went through it. I returned it to the store and bought another one, same thing. I ended up buying five and all and all of them leaked from the plastic part that wasn’t even a connector?!? The plastic collar broke off one. None of them ever got up to pressure. See photos, the hose is limp but leaking. Trash

I bought this hose on April 9 and on April 19 the connection at the faucet broke! The hose lasted a whole 10days. What a complete waste of money.! If I could give it a rating of -5, I would.
