HydroTech FlatJacket 5/8" x 50ft Flexible Garden Hose– Kink-Free, Lightweight, Burst-Proof

I’ve only used it a couple times it I’m impressed with the construction of it. It collapses well. My only critique would be , until it’s fully expanded it kinks/ twists maki it harder for the water to get all the way through to the nozzle. If you have it mostly stretched out it’s not an issue. Overall…. Really good hose. I’ll definitely be buying a 100’ soon.

Great hose Material. I didn't want to return it, but it had one brass end and a plastic end. The plastic end would not hold on to my attachments. The water pressure would blow them off of the plastic threads and water would go everywhere. I tried changing the gaskets twice. Finally it popped loose one time too many in the middle of a job. I returned it immediately after that 10th time.

Looks good and material seems reliable. It arrived in good condition but doesn't thread onto outside water spicket, it goes so far and instead of getting tight it strips and pops Off tried multiple different ways including a splitter. Got a replacement and it does the same thing.

The first time I tried this hose, it kinked up. I regret getting the 100 foot hose because that’s a lot to drag around and have to double back and get the kinks out. Unfortunately, I passed the return date so now I’m stuck with a hose I’ll never use.

Do not buy! I should have read reviews before I purchased, but I was in a hurry and this was cheaper than similar hoses. First, you will spend half an hour untangling it from itself out of the box. Then, you will fumble with the cheap plastic faucet adapter, which won’t seat correctly for whatever reason. Then, you’ll wonder why your kiddie pool is taking 5 hours to fill up, only to discover that the hose wants to keep twisting and bending on itself, so the water pressure is a mere trickle towards the end. Unless you watch to make sure this hose is completely straightened out for the full length, the entire time you are using it, it’s non functional.

Bought May 2, 2025, Failed August 8, 2025. started to see rippling under the jacket a week or so ago, almost the appearance of where 2 sections might have been joined; In any case the outer jacket started to open up today and Im expecting a catastrophic failure in the days to come. I would say that the outer jacket is not as "ABRASION RESISTENT" as one might be lead to believe. I love these type of lightweight hoses, but they just dont have the longevity. Shopping a new hose today.

This broke the first day I had it, right where it connects the fabric portion of the hose to the faucet. It cracked and is now leaking water everywhere. For being kink resistant it gets kinks in multiple places every time I use it as well. I definitely do not recommend this hose.

It clearly states on the box that the hose is KINK RESISTANT I've tried to use it TWO TIMES and both times it took me 10 minutes to take out all the kinks before the water flowed freely. I paid more than I could afford thinking I was getting a quality hose. It was a mistake

Only used about three times. Then, after turning on the faucet again, the hose snapped off from the black plastic connector which was screwed into the faucet.

It was difficult to use. Had it for a couple months and the PLASTIC connector that attaches to your faucet just broke off without any interference. Kinks worse than any hose I ever had. Should off returned it initially but didn't want to put up with the hassle. It was only used 3 to 4 times. Initially went by the number of stars it received. Should of read them because most all reported the same complaints I have. Don't buy. I contacted Walmarts and was told to file with the company because it was still under warranty. Sent then pictures and complaint. Have not heard a word from them. Buyer beware.
