HydroTech Pro Series 3/4" x 50ft Expandable Garden Hose - Kink-Free, 2x Flow, Lightweight

This is our second Hydro Tech hose. The first is a smaller 50 footer we use at the rear of our condo. This larger diameter 100 foot hose is what we use at the front of the condo. It serves double duty as a garden hose and a car washing hose. Very sturdy, easy to use, easy to roll up. We especially like the on and off valve that Hydro Tech uses with their hoses. It’s great!

Lightweight but not cheaply done. Still maintains a heavy duty feel. Great water pressure. Nice size connectors. Really no complaints a month in of heavy use. Haven't personally had trouble with kinking but I also don't wrap it. I put it in an oversized flower pot works great compared to unwrapping and rewrapping a hose for each use. Shut off the water pressure empty hose and it pretty much puts itself away. Great for landscaping. Not so great for a dehumidifier or other drainage system but I could be wrong that's not what I bought it for. This was suggested in what I could consider in the review so I considered. The only negative is it's rather expensive. In fact I'd have already bought another one if not for the much higher than expected price.

Broke before 1st use, may have been broken in box. Went to screw it on my spigot, spinning spinning, realized it's cracked %26 can't attach. Must return. hassle bc it was shipped. NOT HAPPY. So much for great reviews %26 10 year warranty for a VERY EXPENSIVE HOSE!

This hose is terrible! The issue is the interior tubing: it can easily twist and stop the water flow. And in my case, it can burst. All of the exterior hardware is substantial which gives the appearance of a quality product but the interior is very poorly designed.

DO NO BUY!!! CHEAP MATERIAL AND BROKE IN 5 DAYS. This hose is the worst hose i have ever bought. At first I thought it was great because it felt so heavy duty. BUT within the first 5 days of having it on my spicket it broke at the piece just below where it screws on. And this is the part that looks so heavy duty because it looks like it is made out of metal, but it is actually just plastic. When it broke no one was outside and no one touched it. The only forces the hose had on it was that the water was on watering my garden with a sprinkler. This hose was so expensive for just a 50 foot hose and for it to break due to just water flowing through it is wrong.

I have purchased two of these hoses. The one I ordered the spring leaked miserably at the hose connection. I called the company, I had to register it online before they would mail me a new one. The new one does not seem to leak. I also have one of these hoses that was purchased last fall, but was never opened until this spring and that one leaks equally as bad. Because I did not register it I cannot get a replacement.

On first use it leaked between the blue"force control" section and the black strain relief section. There is a notch that looks like it's supposed to be there but water shoots out of it back in the direction of the house bib connection. What a waste of time.

I would not order this product again. The hose was recently bought and barely used when the nozzle on it broke so I had to put a different nozzle on it. So far the hose itself is okay but don't bother purchasing one for yourself unless you plan to install a new nozzle. I didn't even want to give this review one star, but the software requires a star rating.

I wish I would have read the negative reviews before purchasing this $99 100-foot hose. I bought one plus a spare in January to have on hand for spring and summer. I stored both hoses in a temperature-controlled environment before the weather warmed up enough to install one of them. All went well at first, but after less than a half dozen uses, the inner lining came loose and blocked all water flow at the nozzle end. The hose is now unusable. To make matters worse, you have to register for warranty protection with 30 days of purchase, something I overlooked in the small print of the hose description. I tried to contact HydroTech through email and phone call with no response. Don't waste your money on this hose!!!

I have never been more unhappy with a product as I have this water hose! I have also never paid this much for one. The hose stretches out when it's filling up with water then when you start using it, it shrinks and then it doesn't reach out the length it says it is and there won't reach what your trying to water that is near the 75-100' length away!! I hate this piece of crap! I emailed the company and no response! I also have since seen others with the same problem. Ridiculous!!!!!!!
