When it comes to lifting debris from the bottom of the pool, this net design is the best on the market. The slanted front edge is the perfect design for skimming along the bottom and lifting the stuff that settles. I always buy two, so I have a backup, my previous set lasted several years.

This is a heavy duty durable large skimmer. I had one for several years which needed to be replaced. Walmart was one of two places where I could find it.

I liked that it's bigger, easyer to handle.

Better than all we've had in the past. I expect this one to last longer.

It's big %26 sturdy and fits well with our existing pole. A bit on the heavy side compared to aluminum ones, but hopefully it will last longer.

great for above ground pool

The skimmer was a LOT larger than my last one. My fault for not looking at the dimensions. I thought they were all a rather standard size. BUT the construction is and frame are very sturdy and the holes in the skimmer net are nice and small to catch most debris. Side note: It would be easier to mount to the pole if it had the second set of buttons on the neck for inserting into a pole. Having only the one set of buttons makes it easy to pinch fingertips when inserting the neck of the net into a pole.

For the price, I though this would include the pole, but it doesn't.
