Perfect size for my grandson. Shopped at all of the surrounding stores and online availability. This was the most reasonably priced for the features that were on the bike.

I bought this bike for my 9 yrs. old son. He LOVES his bike - he rides it everyday. We have been on dirt trails and pavement. It handles well with any terrain. My son loves the different gears that gives him the availability to adjust the tension on his pedaling depending on hills, flat land, etc.

This is a very very nice child's bike, although I was not expecting what was delivered to my door! It came in a box and when I opened it up, I thought oh boy, what am I going to do with this! It was in a million pieces (not quite). I knew there was no way I could build a 7-speed bike and get it right! Thank goodness for Walmart! I called the bicycle department and they cheerfully said bring it in and we'll put it together for you (at NO cost)! I was so thankful. So we took it on a Friday afternoon and they had it ready to pick up the next morning! This is considered a mountain bike, which means it can be ridden easily on a wide variety of terrain. It has a suspension aluminum frame with aluminum fork and is Shimano equipped (not sure what that means). It has 7-speed twist grip shifting. It features authentic Hyper graphics. This bike comes with a very thorough manual that explains everything from bicycle safety to he to adjust the seat to the proper way to wear a helmet (not included). I totally recommend this bike as an introduction to riding with speed shifting. I would rate this product as a 9 out of 10, only because I had to take it to the store to have it built (but am thankful they did)! Great product!

My 9 year old loves this bike! The assembly was pretty straightforward after watching a YouTube video on how to assemble the brakes properly. One of the brake pads on the rear couldn't be loosened and rubs the tire a little more than it's supposed to but it doesn't interfere with how the bike works. This is a good sturdy bike and the design is cool enough for my son.

I recieved my bike 4/21/2026 and I paid for someone to assemble the bike and he told be the front wheel is bent out of shape so it will not ride well.... My son was riding his bike and it does not ride smoothly and well. If I take a picture of the bike you won't be able to see anything. Please can you send me a new wheel? Thanks in advance

The bike itself looks great and my son loves it! However after only 2 weeks of him riding it there have been many issues. The rear brakes do not release on their own all the way causing them to stick, the chain has popped off MANY times, and he keeps having issues with the gears not shifting correctly. The front rim was also a little bent upon purchase. I really wish this bike would hold together and last longer. My son just turned 8 so we were hoping he could get a couple years out of it. By the looks of it he may need a new bike before summer is even over. I would definitely stay away from this bike if you want it to last longer than a couple months.

Poor quality. Bike was delivered assembled, even though that's not what I ordered ordered. It was later realized that the handlebars and brakes were not assembled correctly. Bike chain broken within a relatively short period of time. Although this is a cheap bike, the cost is not worth the investment.

This bike was for my 13yr old son he got it in September he was only able to ride it maybe 7 times before it was just to cold out. The chain popped off numerous times within the small windows he was able to ride it and as soon as it got warm he went to ride it one time and the chain popped off again and the gear shift broke so the bike isn't very sturdy I wish I could of taken it back but we couldn't because it had been past the time frame which sucks bc he was nvr able to actually ride it.

Terrible experience the bike came delivered and the wheels didn't roll so when I went to return it customer service was terrible I called back 3 times and every time someone told me to do something different. Will never buy anything from Walmart again.

This is the second huffy or hyper bike we have gotten in the last couple years and it always seems to have a problem with the chains and the gear shift. my kid likes to go fast and then it starts clicking and starts shaking. he only had it for I think 30 hours at most and he's only wrote it 3 hours. I noticed it right in the first hour but he told me it was fine but then told me you can't handle it anymore. he's afraid of falling off of it like the last one. the last one I bought second hand so I thought it was wear and tear but the boy's parents told me that they went through three of them in the last year and they're all the same. the first one I got wasn't bad. it was made for toddler so it had a better brake system. and no, the bike wasn't put together 100% but the chain and everything was already attached to begin with. unfortunately I'm going to have to bring it back to mare
