Ozark Trail Youth Bike Helmet, Blue (Ages 8+)

Got this helmet for my 7 year old. Didn't want to break the bank but needed a reliable and safe helmet. This helmet fits much better than higher end brands we've always purchased in past for our kids. I always struggled with adjust straps and our son loves this helmet because more air flows through it. He's always sweaty under helmets. This one more breathable and comfortable for him. Also, he fell off his bike on a turn and his head was great not one issue. Helmet stayed on and no injury. However, it's pretty scratched up after that crash. The exterior material a bit cheap as it scratched a fair amount. If you have kids that throw their helmet around you'll probably see scratches quick. Not sure how long this will last if he falls more but for the price and duration it certainly has kept him safe. So far he's used it all summer and still in working condition. I would buy this again.

My 10 years old big back son has a big head and this fits his head. It's also lightweight which he loves.

if you're looking to calm those fears when your child wants to ride the bike, this is a good quality product to accomplish that.

I got the wrong size so I needed to return it but overall it was a good quality helmet. if I would have gotten the right size I would have kept it!
