Hyper Bicycles E-Ride 700C 36V Electric Commuter E-Bike for Adults, Pedal-Assist, 250W Motor, Blue

The Hyper E-Ride City Commuter E-Bike 700c is a very high quality and very satisfactory electric city commuter bicycle. It was very well packaged and includes a comprehensive owners manual which made assembly very straight forward and logical. It's electrically assisted drive functionality is easy to use, provides plenty of pedaling assistance and reaches more than adequate speed. It's lithium ion battery pack is very easily charged, both on-board the bicycle and when removed with the key/lock for charging indoors. The battery pack holds a charge as described and provides very adequate riding distance on a full charge. I would rate the overall fit, finish and fucnctionality of this Hyper e-ride electric bicycle very highly and would strongly recommend it for use as an excellent city commuter as described by the manufacturer.

This bike drives great. Going 25 mph on a bicycle is a new sensation, I like it. The forks could be more sturdy but I am definitely getting what I paid for with this product. The front wheel well assembly arrived damaged, and the front wheel arrived out of true, so I had to get the wheel repaired at the the local bike mechanic. I messaged Hyper Bicycles and they are sending me a new part free of charge! Their initial response time was fifteen minutes! I was able to order the part the same day as my inquiry! They say it will be here within 3-5 business days! I am impressed so far. 5 stars very good.

I must have spent 2 hours unwrapping the bike there were more tie straps foam and cardboard wrap and you can imagine. assembling take some time well considering I'm looking 70 in the eyeball it takes some time but after putting it together I feel like it's a great accomplishment. I like bike riding but I bought it in case I tire out I can get back home. you would think all electric bikes would come with electric headlight and electric tail light but they don't, it has reflectors. my next goal is to get saddlebags so I can pick up groceries and carry them on the back and of course a good chain or cable to lock it down or something like this would definitely walk. if you live in the city or suburbs definitely lock it in your house or your shed. living in southern Florida the kids down there are bike thieves. they steal bikes and repaint them. I know I had it happen to me so please take care of your e-bike. never change your bike up by your front wheel, or on a post that the cable can be lifted over the top. I'm planning on taking it out for a ride I haven't tried it yet. but I'm sure it's like riding a regular bike. once you learn to ride a bike you never forget. the fenders are not aluminum but the remainder of the bike is. the paint job on the bike is very nice. mine is powder blue. I don't know if it comes in the other colors but this is fine. it kind of reminds you of an old fashioned bicycle with handlebars of a mountain bike. I think the old-fashioned curved up handlebars would have looked nicer on it, it would have made it look more nostalgic. it does have some air in the tires but they're not full. I would advise filling them before writing on it so you don't pinch the tubes. I'm assuming it has tubes. the seat on the bicycle is not the old-fashioned broad seat but it's adequate. personally if I find it uncomfortable after a few miles riding I'm going to order an old fashioned wide backseat. y'all know what I'm talking about, the old Pee-wee Herman type bicycle seat, yeah, that's one comfortable seat that way for the cheeks of your bottom.

I bought this bike at Walmart for $398. This is an awesome bike n definately worth the price compared to similar bikes. I am 5'5” even with the seat to the lowest setting I still can't reach the ground so I bought a new seat to make it easier to adjust as I stop to get off

This is a great beginner E-Bike !! Pros: -Aluminum Frame -Shimano Components ( Take back bike if they send Falcon Components … Falcon is horrible ) -Surprisingly good brakes for rim brakes -Machined Alloy Wheels -Comfortable Grips -Upright Seat position is so comfortable -Good Power with the Peddle Assist Cons: -Saddle is like a rock - Quil Stem Headset -Chain Guard is junk -Pedals are small -No Quick Release on Wheels All in all I would recommend this to any one who wants to cruise around the city and see if an ebike is for you… At 398.00 you really don't have a lot to loose

I'm 6'. My wife is 5'1". We've ridden all types of bikes for over 65 years. When the Hyper's saddle is adjusted to its lowest point, it is only 3/4" higher than the saddle height on her previous bike. She quickly adjusted to this slight difference and has no problem riding this bike. Since there is no top bar this bike can be made to fit a much greater size range. Motor is quiet. Grip shift is easy to use, not especially precise but gets the job done and is appropriate for this price range. No complaints about saddle if you are accustomed to wearing cycle shorts. Bike is under 50 lbs so riding without electric assist is not difficult unlike some 70 lb bikes that require electric assist even on level terrain. Also the lighter weight makes them safer to transport on a hitch bike carrier. I use a 2" bike carrier to carry two bikes with the batteries removed for even less weight. Rear axle is 18 mm which you probably don't have. Buy an open end 18mm wrench and make sure you can loosen the rear axle nuts in case you have to repair a flat on the road. Also insert tire liners to reduce likelihood of flat. Walmart makes returns easy if any problem with bike.

Overall, this bike is extremely fun to use. It's perfect for an around town bike. Putting it together isn't the worst, the hardest part is adjusting the brakes, for some reason it's really hard to get the brakes dialed in. Also there are no instructions for how to fix the brakes so you just have to figure it out yourself. Another thing, not sure if it's user error or not but the carrier bag sticks into the spokes and makes noise the whole time you're riding. Again, could be user error. I bought 4 bikes. 2/4 came with the chain fallen off. I'm not super well versed in bikes so getting this back on was extremely time consuming and frustrating. Also there are no instructions on how to put the chain back on. All that being said, once everything is fine tuned it's a great bike.

it is very comfy to seat and ride bike for me, i'm 6.1ft tall, shimano components are realiable and shifting well when adjusted. the bike is much lighter than other competitors as it does have 700c wheels. the bike does have front shock absorber which is very important for ebike. cons: battery barely lasts for 1 hour 15 minutes when going up and down on not large hills, and if you use only pedal assist level1, on pedal assist level 2 it does last not more than 50 minutes. and this is with that i was shifting up and down to reduce load on the motor during ride. the front star is too small for having the pedaling without power assist. the e motor is only 250 wt but it seems like less power as i ride other bikes with 250 wt motors , more heavy ones, and the motors were much powerfull that on hyper bike. the bike came with terrible manufacturer assembly - the front and rear wheels were severe wobbling in several spots. i did fix to a reasonable degree rear one but front one was out of order after 2 rides. therefore i'm concluding the quality of wheel is really bad. i 'm not heavy , 170lbs, and it is out of any expectations from wheels that i need to adjust it every third ride , or basically, after 3 hours of use. the battery and components does have missleading information on power left. on component it shows 2 bars, on bike battery it shows 1 bar , and with 1 bar the bike won't take the hill of 25 degree - the motor power is very weak. the brakes came also with no adjustment, when braking one of rubber for each brake was touching the tire, it is very dangerous as if you go down the hill and brake frequently - the tire can blow out because of heat that is generated by braking. i did adjust the brakes too. the shifters were severly out of order - if i won't know how to adjust from the start to end , those won't be working properly. it is certainly low assembly of bike quality. the front cover of wheel when installed was touching the tire and i was not able to adjust it not to. i put 3 stars as i like the ergonomics of bike - very comfy to ride frame and handle but components are really low quallity and will not last long. won't recommend the bike. going back to wm.

Walmart delivery is awful! There was a bolt sticking out of the package that I didn't see and it literally cut me causing blood to spew everywhere. Then I open the product to find it all messed up and the battery is dented. This is a huge safety hazard!!!

STAY AWAY from this bike. It arrived defective, missing the safety latch and the axel nut on the left side of the tire. I spent almost two weeks trying to reach the seller through emails and phone calls with absolutely zero response. When I gave up and tried to return it to Walmart, things got even worse. I was told I could bring it in-store for a full refund. I did exactly that only to be told they couldn't accept it because it has a battery. When I explained that the seller wasn't responding, Walmart staff refused to help contact them, refused to take the bike back, and said there was nothing they could do. I am now stuck with a broken, unusable bike and no path to a refund. This has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Zero stars.
