This is a great bicycle for a beginner like me. I'm a full time pedestrian and I live in a small city and this is a game changer. It's very fast and easy to ride but there are some issues. The seat is absolutely horrid and I had to get a new one. Make sure what ever seat you order that the rod goes in at an angle. Also the thin layer of metal over the chain is flimsy and it got caught in my shoe and it bent. Other than that it is a fantastic bike and if you need a simple inexpensive one…this works fine. I strapped a milk crate to it with zip ties and it's great for getting groceries.
Finally talked my wife into accepting my offer to get her an e-bike. The price was right and its specifications pretty well matched those of my Hyper men's cruiser which I love. She and I both enjoy our rides to the fullest on these two outstanding pedal assist bicycles.
This e-bike has been an awesome upgrade for my daily commuting. The Hyper E-Ride is lightweight, easy to handle, and perfect for city riding. The 250W motor with pedal assist gives just the right boost, especially on longer rides or slight hills, without feeling jerky or overpowering. The 700C tires roll smoothly and make the ride feel stable and efficient, even on rougher pavement. Battery life has been solid for my needs, and charging is simple. I also really like how clean and sleek the blue design looks—it doesn't scream “e-bike,” which is a plus. It's comfortable, quiet, and easy to use, even for someone new to electric bikes. Assembly was straightforward, and everything worked perfectly right out of the box. For the price, the quality and performance exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for an affordable, dependable electric commuter bike that's fun to ride and practical for everyday use, this one is a great choice. Highly recommend! 🚲⚡
Was missing a nut for wheel in shipping. Matching one was easy to find. Assembly and adjustments were not difficult. I immediately changed the seat. It was like riding a brick! Two small items will not change my opinion of the Bike. It's fabulous. I really enjoy it. I easily get 18 or so miles out of a charge. Great job.
I'm a senior citizen and I thought it was an all electric bike and so sometimes cuz I got bad legs it's just hard for me to get around on it I thought about returning it and getting the full electric one but it's actually a good bike it's just really hard for me to ride
I like the bike but it came with a very bent front fender that I am having to scrap because it cannot be bent back to shape. And as a bike novice the front wheel spokes were needing adjustment so som insight in the manual would have been nice. Overall I've had it 2 weeks and still am not on the road. Can I get a fender replacement??
I paid for a class 2 Hyper E Bike and they sent me a class 1 Hyper E Bike instead. It was missing the side bags that sit on the back rack which were labeled as "Included with bike" on the advertisement on line. The side bags are what helped me decide to buy the bike. I could've used them for shopping. It was also missing the two bolts for the front tire. I had to go buy them at Lowe's. I paid for a class 2, I believe I paid extra for a class 2. I'm hoping Walmart sends me the side bags that were supposed to be included and credits my account for the difference between a class 1 and a class 2.
STAY AWAY from this bike. It arrived defective, missing the safety latch and the axel nut on the left side of the tire. I spent almost two weeks trying to reach the seller through emails and phone calls with absolutely zero response. When I gave up and tried to return it to Walmart, things got even worse. I was told I could bring it in-store for a full refund. I did exactly that only to be told they couldn't accept it because it has a battery. When I explained that the seller wasn't responding, Walmart staff refused to help contact them, refused to take the bike back, and said there was nothing they could do. I am now stuck with a broken, unusable bike and no path to a refund. This has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Zero stars.
Bought bike for my daughter 2 years ago had a couple minor issues that were fixable. She had an accident when someone opened a car door and the bike got smashed up and not worth repairing. Bought exact model on line from Walmart, lasted a week and the battery assist just stopped working. Walmart was very easy to return and bought another one, last 3 weeks and the exact same problem electric pedal assist stopped working. Taking back and looking elsewhere. Biggest plus the easy return
Seat was very uncomfortable and the power level was insufficient and the battery life was jost not sufficient. Ad mentions the range of battery is good for 25 mile range....but bike would use up all the power within about 10-11 miles. Not worth the purchase.
