Hyper Tough 100 ft Laser Distance Measuring Tool

This was exactly what I needed to measure my windows for a new window blind. The measurements were accurate and had no issues making it work.

This Hyper Tough 100-Foot Laser Distance Measurer, 43035 doesn’t just measure from one place to another. It does calculations for volume and angles. The accuracy is +/- 1/8 inch. It automatically shuts off after three minutes and the last thirty measurements are automatically saved. It will calculate two- and three-point angles. If you know two sides of an angle it will easily figure out the length of the third side. This would be extremely helpful to someone in the construction business who needs to do some quick calculations for estimates. It will be nice for me when I replace the tile in my bathroom and the backsplash in my kitchen to figure out the square footage of materials I will need to buy for the job. At this time of year (Christmas) this will be a great stocking stuffer. I plan on giving one to my son and son-in-law.

After using the laser tape measure a whole day measuring and cutting wood for a deck the readings became more and more inaccurate causing me to waste material before i caught on to the measurements being short by as much as a 1/2 inch. i then double checked all measurement by using a actually tape measure slowing me down considerably. i later found that the laser was only accurate in darker conditions or inside but checking against tape and a yard stick..

The item is terrible. It is basically not useful I attempted to use it on the day I finally got it and was unable to due to its poor design.

I took a measurement of 3 feet and double checked it against my tape measure and this was off by 2.5 inches.
