Was skeptical about getting this item after reading some of the reviews however, decided to give it a try and it has not disappointed. We installed it in an 8' X 12' shed and it far exceeded our expectations of providing enough light. Was very easy to install. It has a low, high, off pull chain switch that we put an extension on the chain to reach it.
I couldn't find anything similar to this that wasn't more than double the price. Using it in my shed, it's fantastic. The two brightness options are so close to one another that it's kinda pointless and would be better if the pull chair had just two settings, off or on
Standard shed with loft used by Scout Troop needed interior lights but had no electricity available. I purchased 2 of these lights and installed 1 on ground floor and 1 up in loft. The low light works great, the high can be a bit strong, but the lights do a great job meeting our needs. I did have to purchase a pull cord extension for the light in the loft, but otherwise this product meets our needs perfectly. When installing set the solar panel uncover and iset in thw sun and by the time you finish installing the light and then mount the solar panel, there will be enough charge for the lights to work immediately. Otherwise you may have to wait up to 30 minutes for use.
I needed a shop light in a barn that doesn't have power. This solar shop light took less than 10 minutes to hang and to put up the solar charging panel. The cord from the solar panel to the light is plenty long and connects easily. It is lightweight and plastic but it is in a spot protected from the outside and weather so that shouldn't be a problem. There are two levels of brightness and it lights a large area. Perfect solution to light an area without an electrical outlet.
I bought 2. One for my toolshed (10'x10') and one for a 12'x12' lean-to shed I built onto my tool shed because I dont have electric to it. Gives a pretty good amount of light. Not a bad price for a solar rechargeable shop light.
I like that this is solar and is what I needed for my outside little busy Bee area. I personally didn't want it hanging due to wind, but I rigged mounting it with some bolts and nuts to a board. very happy! love it!
Ordered it online... They delivered to my door, which was great. Took one look at the box and immediately knew it was a return that went back on the shelf. Pulled it out and gave it a once-over. Minor scuffing on the light casing, and missing its hardware kit. There was no packaging or instructions which whatever its a light... my gripe is it went back on the shelve and was sold as new.
it's nice when it comes on but the battery sucks you will not hold the charge for very long I would return it if it didn't cost more to return it than it was just to keep it would be nice if they would send me another one maybe it won't be defective
Well, I bought a two pack one seems to still be working fine but the other one stopped working after about a month and to replace the battery is $13 doesn't seem like a great deal to me
Light works good and the low and high settings are very nice. The only issue I have is it doesn't stay charged long while you're using it.. I have the same light from a different manufacturer and it lasts over twice as long as this brand
