I am pretty impressed with this. Seems to be well built and will hold far more weight than I had originally thought it would. One of the screws stripped as I was driving it in, but pretty sure that was my drill that caused that as the other one went in fine (and it does come with pretty stout screws!) I'm only holding up a string trimmer with this one but it can easily hold far more weight than that. Really nice that it folds up out of the way when you're not using it so you don't have something poking out from the wall when you don't need it to be. Now just need like a case of these and maybe I could get a little more organized!
This flip up hook will mount anywhere and comes with the 2 screws needed. Best to hang it on a stud or similar heavy base. The screws are vertical so it can go on a stud easily, don’t have to worry about needing extra width. I used it to hang up a long messy vacuum hose for the pool, get it up and out of the way. You could easily hand tools, lawn chairs, bike tires, just about anything on it. It is nice and long, but will flip up out of the way when not in use.
its real good tbh
I was tired of all the rakes, shovels and pitch forks being left in the corner and then the animals knocking them on the ground causing a hazard. so I bought this tool hanger. IT IS GREAT. All my rakes, shovels and pitch forks fix and I no longer have to pick them up 5x a day. Just hang them up and they are out of the way.
I requested this tool hanger to add some organization to our backyard shed and was very satisfied with the results! I am not the most organized person and usually spend 20 minutes searching for my tools before beginning any job. This tool hanger works well to get my tools organized and off the ground near eye-level so they are easy to see/find. The build quality is good, with a thick coating of rubberized material extending the length of the hanger arms and even over the tips. The coating is of great quality, not the cheap rubber foam that easily wears off, I’m sure this will last. The length is more than enough to hold 4 or 5 tools. This hanger has an option to fold up out of the way as well, however, I can’t imagine a time I won’t have a tool hanging from it. Install was easy, 2 screws (not included) and about 3 minutes. If you want to add a little organization to your space this tool hanger would be a great addition to any garage or shed.
Quality product. Holds lots of weight
It's what I was looking for to put tools on
This is a very sturdy tool hanger - once it's hung. It went up easily however the included screws are not very high quality and the heads stripped as I was using a drill to screw them in. I even pre-drilled the holes in the stud, but the screws still just stripped. I had to use pliers to remove them and then use other bolts that I already had at home to hang it. Once up, it looks good and holds the tools very securely. The hangers are coated with a rubberized coating that prevents the tools from sliding off. If they got rid of the screws and included heavier-duty bolts instead, this would be a 5-star rating for sure.
These hangers are not only great for garden tools, but also for coiled wire, hoses, edgers, chain saws, etc. If you are putting up several hangers like I did, I found it easier to mount a 2x6 on the wall, then screw the hangers into the 2x6 instead of worrying about stud locations, etc.
Fantastic. Strong. I like the cushioned bars and ability to flip out of the way. NOTE: if your local Walmart likely pick and delivers these for "shipping", you may not get the 2 screws. Pickers don't pay attention to such things. I received one without the screws, but I happen to have some that will work. Still, it's very annoying. I'm not exchanging as the time and gas to do that compared to the sales price of the item are not worth it.
