Hyper Tough 16 oz Rubber Mallet with Wood Handle, TH70020A

This item was suggested to me. I did not seek it out but I am EXTREMELY pleased with it. All of my tools fit well into the attractive bag that appears to be sturdy. I would recommend it to anyone but especially to females who like having their own tools for household use!!

The rubber mallet is great but I am getting very disappointed in online shopping at Walmart. I order for pickup when I am going be over that way and in a hurry but I place my order for at least over $35 and the more often than not something needs to be shipped then I am charged a pick up fee!! That is not fair!!

Just what I was looking for to keep the bags of ice loose for customers to be able to get the ice out without ripping the bags or getting hurt, if you know than you know..

Great value and well made for the money at $3.25. The rubber mallet head had ample hefty weight to it and the wood handle was long enough to provide good striking leverage. I bought two of these.

Why spend $20 on a rubber mallet when only $3 could get you this one. It's a no brainer. Extremely good value and, for the cost, it's decent quality as the head is not likely to fly off and bust someone's head open.

I seriously can't believe Walmart was out of these! But I do believe the shopper didn't want to walk down to the hardware department, which was almost down to the other end of the store…

Item was seriously damaged on delivery. Appears to have been used to pound small headed nails. You can see the indentations of the nail heads and there are chunks out of it. This is clearly not a new item.

I saw other reviews of this item mention that they received a used or damaged mallet, but I discounted those as flukes. Sure enough, I've received a mallet that doesn't just have some minor cosmetic damage...it looks like it's been used by a carpenter with anger management issues for years with large gouges out of the rubber and wood. Nothing else in the box was damaged, so it didn't happen in shipping. The only thing I can figure is it fell out of the back of a truck on the highway and Walmart figured passing it on to a customer was fine. This company seems to be working hard to destroy its reputation. That said, the mallet does seem to be sturdy as it survived that mysterious trauma intact. It will still serve its purpose to hammer things and doesn't need to look pretty.
