this oil container is just what I've been needing. I changed my transmission fluid every 30,000 miles, and engine oil 3,000--3,500 miles. this tank can be taken to a oil drop off place. really makes it simple. tank is well made and it's the best band for the dollar.

If you Georgia by delivery you might have to send it back I got two of these on different orders with no vent cap totally useless unless it has the vent cap plus they sell out of this item so you reorder and gets canceled on the third time of them coming back into stock I was finally able to get one and amazingly enough it had the vent cap

Large capacity oil drain catch pan can be used for more than one oil change, has a ledge to drain the filter and another ledge to put the drain plug if you want to. The only catch is, if one wants to just take it to a used oil collection site there is no lid to cover up where the oil drained from the engine into the reservoir so it would need to be wiped clean with rags

worked for me and has handle. didn't leak after use. i have a 4cyl car, so i can do 5 oil changes before its full. just dont forget to open breather valve beforehand and snap close when done. its fairly shallow, so i recommend setting atop a step stool or something if you have a truck to prevent splatter. top is sloped towards drain hole, so set pan where oil flow goes down the slope to prevent a mess since it comes out fast after removing vehicle pan bolt. hopefully it wont leak when it gets full, which i have yet to find out. ps: screw plastic caps snug as if you over tighten it may pop loose similar to what a 2ltr cap does sometimes

The 16 quart drain pan is awesome! It has a plug where all the oil goes in and you put the plug back on and then you could take the oil somewhere to get rid of it. All you have to do is unscrew the cap and pour it into the oil collection drum. It was super easy, easy to wipe down and clean after I used it. It did not make a mess. I was very pleased. It was even a little windy and I was worried that oil was going to blow all over but it's the perfect width and everything to catch. I was super pleased! I would definitely recommend this to anybody even with the smaller cars. It would still be a perfect fit. I love the fact that you can transport the oil in the pan and not spill it, compared to the other pans. I am just super impressed and pleased with my purchase!

The container itself is decent for the price and holds a good amount of oil. However, the cap is extremely hard to unscrew. I had to use pliers to open it the first time, which is pretty inconvenient. The threading seems too tight and not very smooth.

This drain pan was a complete waste of money, 3 of my 6 quarts of oil landed all over my garage floor. between the splatter and the drain for the oil pan not accepting the volume of oil fast enough the pan overflowed with in seconds. This oil pan is cheaply made and extremely poorly designed.

The item arrived missing the vent screws. I contacted customer support hoping they would send the missing hardware, but the only solution offered was to return the entire item for a refund. This was very inconvenient and poor customer service for what should have been a simple fix. I would not recommend this seller and suggest looking elsewhere to avoid wasting your time.

The container had a flaw or crack at the bottom seam. It was fine when I drained the oil, but when I went pick it up and get ready to take used oil to recycler it leaked oil. I had to clean everything and then transfer oil into different containers for recycling.

I bought this drain pan container hoping it would make oil changes cleaner and easier, but it turned into a complete mess. After draining the oil and securing the main cap, I set it in the bed of my truck. By the time I got home, oil had leaked everywhere from the flimsy, poorly designed cap. Cleaning up that mess was a nightmare and completely defeated the purpose of having a sealed container. On top of that, the vent cap is made of cheap plastic and snapped after the very first use. For something that's supposed to hold used oil safely, this container feels like it was built with zero durability or quality control in mind. If you're looking for a reliable drain pan container, I'd recommend steering clear of this one. Spend a little more on something with a sturdier seal and better construction—it'll save you a lot of frustration (and cleanup).
