Hyper Tough 20V Max Fast Charger for Lithium-Ion Batteries

Best money I spent in a long time. I bought Hyper Tough string trimmer and the charger in that was horrible. A 4.0 ah battery wasn't even done charging after 6 hrs. Since the battery has no indications on its own charge level and the charger output is so low without telling u anything it made the process horrible. But I then bought this charger next day and its great. It charged my 4.0 ah bsttery fast. It shows you the percentage as its charging the battery. Since my battery has no level of charge left indication (which is stupid) if u need to know how much u have left you could put on charger for a moment to see what is left. I give charger a 10 for speed and info it gives you. Warrznty is for 3yrs. Bring back to Walmart with receipt it says for no charge replacement. If u order online take a screenshot of your receipt and keep it. You wont regret buying this if you have gotten the cheap slow charger with Hyper tough product.

YOUR COMPUTER SHOWED THE ITEM WAS IN HOUSE. WASTED TIME DRIVING TO THE STORE AND CALLED FOR ASSISTANCE FOR 17 MINUTES. ASSOCIATE SAID HAD NONE BUT PAID SHIPPING AND HAD IT DELIVERED 3 HOURS LATER FROM SAME STORE! charger is far superior to standard one!

This is a really good quality charger, but when I bought the drill it had an attachment to the bottom of it which was the battery itself. I thought that is was as well. So the with the drill wound up being pretty expensive cause I had to buy the charger separately.

Much faster than the available smaller charger, more than twice as fast IIRC. Don't waste your time with the smaller charger except that its slower charge rate can give longer overall service life to your batteries compared to always rapid charging a battery--theoretically anyway. The charging percentage display on this one is also absent on the smaller/slow charger unit. So if you only buy one charger choose this one. You'll be happy you did.

I had to order a fast charging battery charger for my hyper tough weed wacker from the store in DeLand Florida because I kept checking Orange City Florida and the supplies were never replenished and very limited, therefore I had to pay about 8 or $9 more than if I bought in the store closer to me in Orange City.

I bought this charger to have an extra charger, and it works fine. It is a 2.0Ah charger, and it can charge the HyperTough 2Ah battery in an hour, and the 4Ah in two hours. It came with a fancier LCD screen that shows charging percentage and any temperature warnings, error information. I like the charging % feature. However, I find that I am disappointed in this charger because it will only charge the 1.5, 2.0, and 4Ah Hypertough batteries. (That is all it was designed for, and it is restricted to those.) I have both HyperTough and NorthernTool Klutch brand batteries (that interoperate on the two brands tools, and interoperate on some chargers.) This charger will charge the Klutch 2Ah and 4Ah batteries also, in addition to the Hypertough ones. However, it will NOT charge the Klutch 6Ah, and 8Ah batteries. It always says those batteries are "fully charged" immediately, when they are not. (Better than hurting them I supposed, which it does not do.) But it will not charge them. The "dumb" charger from HyperTough will charge those batteries. (e.g. the one without the fancy LCD display and charge % display feature, but just LED lights alone), that will charge the higher Ah batteries. So, this unit works perfectly for what it claims to work on (HyperTough batteries), but nothing else. If Walmart and HyperTough ever bring out a 6A or 8Ah battery, this charger will not work on those either. Maximum size for it is the 4Ah.

this charger does not charge the 2.5 amp batteries i have. in the description it says it charges ANY 20v batter, on the base of the charger it says it charges 1.5, 2, and 4 amp, i cant find a charger for the 2.5 amp batteries that came with the weedwhacker/leaf blower combo i purchased like 5-6 years ago, so i guess the batteries are garbage and i have to purchase 2 new 2amp batteries now

I never received this. I called Walmart and they said that they would figure out what happened and get back to me. The driver ( Mark ) never delivered it to my address. I drove all around the neighborhood and nobody said they had a package left at their garage door. I haven't received my money back either.

The charger did not work. My batteries for my 2 year old Hyper Tough electric lawn mower batteries would no longer charge on the plastic chargers that came with the mower. The charger I returned was supposed to charge them. It did not. i had to buy a new mower.
