Hyper Tough 2x20 Volts Max 18-inch Brushless Side-discharge Lawn Mower, HY5601050516001

I absolutely love this mower and I wasn't expecting it to be as good as a gas mower. Boy was I wrong and it's so easy to use and the batteries 🪫(2) included once charged are long lasting and it's so lightweight but has power and it powers up when needed for grassier areas. I had the batteries die before my yard was done the first time I used it BUT my yard was quite high as my other gas mower caught fire and this wonderful mower was hard at work and the batteries hold the charge even if unplugged after completely charged. I thought I'd need to buy an extra battery set for this but nope 🙂‍↔️ and my yard is not small, it's spacious and has 5 areas to my property so that hopefully will be helpful to estimate how long the batteries last. I will not go back to a gas mower again and my mower is my cute lil thing and the price is pretty much what a gas mower costs. I was burned on my leg bad when the gas mower caught fire as I tried to put it out and have the scars to prove it. Never again will that happen with my battery mower. RECOMMEND 100%

This was my first electric mower so I was skeptical, especially for it being the cheapest I found, but I've been a fan so far. It was a snap to assemble and effortless to use, and even on full power it's not as noisy as a gas mower, and on lower power I can hold a conversation while mowing. I'm out there one-handed mowing like I'm vacuuming the lawn. It choked on tall, wet grass, but no more than my previous gas mowers did. My weed trimmer is the same brand so I can even use this mower's batteries on my weed trimmer.

To start this review off I will say impressive to say the least. This mower left me speechless I was not expecting the mower to have the power that it did. With a full charge it had enough juice to mow my lawn and my neighbors lawn. I will definitely buy this product again

outstanding workmanship i easily put it together and charged the batteries the controls on it made it very easy to operate it cut right through my yard even though my grass was 6 to 8 inches tall ! very impressive i would highly recommend this mower to anyone

I moved from an apartment to a house with a small lawn and needed a mower. The first time I used this I had to recharge batteries before finishing the task. I thought I'd need extra batteries. But the lawn had been untended and the weedy grass was overgrown. The second time I mowed I was able to finish mowing the whole lawn on one charge with charge to spare. I have lupus and have had severe injury to my back. This mower is so light it actually feels like it's self propelled. It puts very little strain on my body to use.

Everything about this 40V 18 inch brushless lawn mower is outstanding. It is packaged securely and assembly after unboxing was very fast and easy, taking about 5 minutes. My only gripe regarding the Hyper Tough series of battery operated tools is the availability of the 20V 6.0Ah batteries required to operate the machine. I am unable to order additional batteries online from Walmart, why? It would be convenient and beneficial for me to have additional batteries at the ready to swap out with fresh batteries to continue working and not have to wait for one set of batteries to recharge. This is a huge error by Walmart and battery availability should have been in place when the lawn mower was first offered for sale.

I'm very pleased with this mower. Debated about getting the self propelled or the push. Turns out it's lightweight and easy to use so did not need the self-propelled. Great mower. Great price. Did not have a mulcher before. This mower leaves the lawn looking so nice.

This little lawnmower where is my FIRST attempt at using a battery operated lawnmower and it was almost perfect for me… I'm in my 80s and I was able to lift this lawnmower into the back of my SUV… Easy to put together… Easy to understand directions! Fir me, in my opinion far better than gas operated .. however I did not understand it was for small yards and I have a yard that's probably four times bigger so I had to return it, but I would recommend this

Battery life is terrible. I have a relatively small front yard (back yard is all rock and landscaping). I had to charge the batteries 4 times to finish. Took me 2 days to mow what should have taken about 45 minutes to do well. Being generous I'd say a charge lasted about 12-15 minutes.

My yard is kind of small. This mower didn't last through it. I went online to purchase replacement batteries. They don't exist for this mower. When I pushed it on its lowest setting, it kept turning off. I understand why it does this on uneven ground. But...the ground wasn't really that uneven. As Scotty would say, "I just don't have the power, Captain!"...'cuz it doesn't. The directions assumed that I've assembled mowers before. So that was annoying also.
