Hyper Tough 4-Shelf Plastic Storage Shelf, Black, 22" W x 14" D x 47" H

Very practical shelf unit. Easy to put together. Stable and not wobbly. There is the option to only use 3 of the 4 shelves if desired - or even just 2. We're using it as 3 shelves on a deck to hold bird seed trays. It's durable enough for outdoor use and easy to clean. It is lightweight, so we weighted it with rocks on the feed trays. The birds like the rocks - lifts them up higher to keep an eye on their surroundings!

Item arrived expediently and quality is as expected. Easily assembled, It is an inexpensive utilitarian shelving unit. It now is placed in the laundry area and is perfect for storing laundry essentials such as detergent, bleach, stain removers, dryer sheets, etc. If purchased, I advise attention to listed weight limits and any advisements on placement location but what do I know.

I'm really impressed with these Hyper Tough plastic storage shelves. They were easy to assemble, feel sturdy, and hold plenty of storage bins, tools, and household items. They've helped organize my garage and make everything much easier to find. Great quality for the price, and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone needing extra storage space!

Wanted shelves older (now indoor cats) could lay on in a screened and open side window. The size and weight bearing of these shelves are just the right height to allow both mommy 15 y.o. and son 8 y.o. to sun and catch a summer breeze on separate shelves. Can seek shade on lower shelves when tired of sunning on upper shelves. Placed a washable, comfy pad on bottom 2 shelves and towel on upper shelves.

First off the thing was filthy, covered in dust and dirt, and what looked like some type of animal hair. I vacuumed it off and then when I went to assemble it, I didn't see any directions anywhere, but it looked fairly simple except, if you look at the poles that hold the shelves together, one of them is thicker and has a little rim inside it and the other one doesn't. To save you the trouble that I went through the thicker end goes down after I figure that out the assembly was pretty simple however, you 100% need a rubber mallet to get the pole seated all the way in. Once assembled, it's light and seems sturdy enough for light storage for the price. It's worth it.

I have learned that Hyper Tough is not an actual brand. It's a 'made for Walmart' item, the same as Equate or Great Value. Several different manufacturers and distributors might be involved. This particular shelving unit was manufactured by American Plastics in Ohio. There was a problem when I attempted to assemble this smaller unit. The nice person in Ohio resolved the issue. He will be sending replacement parts to make the shelves usable. The other 3 Hyper Tough shelving units ordered were a larger size. Those 3 were delivered damaged. The larger units were manufactured by a different supplier, not the one in Ohio. When you see bad reviews for Hyper Tough plastic shelving, the customers are most likely referring to the ones made by a parent company based in California. My overall suggestion is to NOT BUY any item with the Hyper Tough name. That's the best advice I can offer. I've been on the phone for several days, back and forth, attempting to get a refund, to no avail. While I wait for a refund, I solved the problem quite easily by ordering metal shelves from AMAZON. Those shelves arrived promptly, were priced fairly, properly designed, well-made, packaged safely, and are sturdy. I tried to buy 'American-made', but it just didn't work. Thank you for reading!

It was very hard to put together and it’s pretty flimsy

Impose to put together. Parts do not fit. I have several of these from other brands that were easily assembled. This one is impossible. Waste of money.

could not get the legs into the selves. after multiple attempts and having switched legs into different selves, i finally had to get a hammer to force legs into holes. was worried the entire time of breaking the thing

The item was packaged VERY poorly and received damaged so I initiated a return. The website shows the return was received and a new Order %23 generated... BUT... that's all the information I could get. So I called customer service and they said the replacement was being shipped from another warehouse and would arrive in 7 days from order. That date was 3 days ago. So on the website now, the order says "Being Processed"... which tells me NOTHING. This is the last time I'll order anything from Walmart online. None of the retail stores around here carry this particular product or I would have purchased in person. I found the same product and brand on eBay for $1 more... should bought it there... This review is NOT for the product as I really don't know how good it might be... this is just about the poor service from WM
