I'm completing a craft project hhat includes 1/4" wires 36" long that needed to be cut down. These circular saws are perfect and very reasonably priced. So glad I purchased them
Nice amount of these little cut-off wheels, I use them mostly for cutting off nails that stick out of my small hobby projects. They are a bit brittle, but as long as you let the wheel do the work and not apply to much pressure, they work great.
Used it to get rusted bolts and nuts off vehicles when making repairs. works as well as a Dremel! I debated getting another Dremel or trying this. the cost difference obviously stood out. Im glad i gave this a try. Only down side is the bits it comes with brake easy. I had to go buy some better quality one, but still worth it and i did use the ones it came with too, they just go bye fast.
I can't really complain for the price, but these are thin %26 break easily. I've been cutting plexiglass with these so can't imagine using these on anything hard. Keep the speed low %26 don't apply pressure or they shatter. If you don't mind changing the disc often, then it's ok. But it would probably be better to spend more on a better quality disc that lasts longer.
extremely fragile. very easy to break. make sure you wear safety glasses
What I liked: The delivery from Walmart was very quick and exactly as promised. What I didn't like: The product quality was very poor. The disks are flimsy and poorly formed, with jagged edges right out of the case. They disintegrate almost immediately when cutting. The Dremel brand are so much better for what I'm doing. I'm cutting fiberglass-epoxy (FR4 G10) for a control panel support. I will never buy the hyper tough brand again.
I bought this with the Hyper Tough 1.5 amp corded rotary tool. NOTHING IS TOUGH!!! Initially, I gave the tool a rave review, however, it broke on the 2nd use. When tightening the collar, it caused the case to expand and the mechanism inside to skip. (I tried to upload photos, but this freaking site is not working.) I called customer care, I had to jump through hoops, they finally agreed to send replacement. However, it never came. 2nd call, went through the same thing, finally they sent me an email with Reference%23 and Supplier phone %23 and asked me to call to ensure they send out the replacement. I called the given Supplier %23 but the person answered said she is customer care/warranty and couldn't look up my reference %23 or do anything. After I had to raise my voice, she transferred me. And after waiting over half an hour, someone said it's Tractor Supply Company and has nothing to do with Walmart!!! What??? 3rd call to the given supplier %23, same loop I had to go through. Why am I transferred to a company that has nothing to do Walmart??? Why I have to call this %23 and that %23 and talk to half a dozen people. Long story short, THEY ARE IN A FREAKING MESS. Don't buy from Walmart online. The tool looked good initially, but poor design, poor reliability. Besides, it doesn't have any cutting power, it took forever to cut a 1/8" diameter aluminum rod. I ended up cutting by hand with a mini miter-box. So, buy name brand only; it is not worth the hassle and frustration, money aside.
so flimsy that one snapped in half when i picked it up. they also grind/ burn down to nubs really quickly - they're definitely not made of steel like the Dremel disks. i wouldn't recommend them unless you're only cutting soft material. not recommended for even thin metal - i used up 2 disks (needed to clamp 2 together because they're too thin %26 brittle to use individually) on a 1.5" cut on a tin can
Possibly dangerous IF you can get them onto tool without cracking or breaking into pieces.Totally useless cutting wheels. These broke into pieces with very little pressure/basic handling in attempt to place on tool. Extremely thin and brittle so it's a good thing they fell apart before any attempt to cut. Sharp little shards would have gone flying at first contact with anything.
Normally I don't have any trouble with cheap cutting disk, But these explode on cheap metal and on low or high. Don't buy. The others never arrived, and I have lost over 24$.
