If you are not familiar with Hyper Tough equipment, let me explain it like this: You may think you are tough...but this drill is Hyper Tough which means it's tougher than you. It's Tougher than Black and Decker, and Tougher than Ryobi, and Tougher than DeWalt, and even Tougher than Milwaukee. That's how Tough it is! I am really enjoying this drill--the torque drilling through concrete, wood, and plastics is phenomenal. Much better than my B %26 D and Ryobi. In fact, I just gave both of them away. This drill is also very easy to hold with a great grip handle. Fast charge and long life from the battery--I have not run out of power yet working a day. I have other Hyper Tough tools and lights and they have lasted still under enormous use and pressure.
Perfect for smaller hands. 8 volt max lithium ion cordless drill. 10 drill bits included. Four hours of wall charging and it was ready to go. Cordless. Take it anywhere. Not sure how long the charge lasts since I always used it for 2 hours each day for two days. Noisy, of course but not overly so. 21+1 adjustable settings. Just twist to adjust. Chuck size 3/8-in. Keyless. Battery capacity 1500mAh. Rubber grip on back and front of handle for non slip handling. Easy to use. Easy to store. Perfect for handy work around the house, and quite capable of taking care of bigger projects.
This Hyper Tough 8-Volt Max Lithium-Ion Cordless Drill/Driver is an added plus to any toolbox. It is a 3/8" drill with keyless chuck. There are 21 plus 1 adjustable torque settings to do the job, large or small. It comes with 10 different sized 2-in bits including slotted and philliips. It also includes a double-end screwdriver bit. The best feature is that it is cordless and charges really quickly. No cords to drag around is such a great thing! This drill/driver is lightweight and portable to help with any and all your jobs around the house.
My husband and I both really like the 8 volt cordless drill. It’s got plenty of power for every day household chores. It has a lithium battery that charged up really fast and lasted through the jobs we were working on with no problem. The package includes a charger and several bits including the typical sized phillips head and flat head screwdriver bits. It has different torque settings so you can adjust for whatever job you are doing. It is very easy to use, has a good weight and feel, not too heavy even for me.
This is my first drill and I am very happy with it. It is easy to use. Lightweight and perfect for simple household work. I comes with all the essential stuff like 10 2 inch bits. You can use any off the bits by tighten it on the chuck. You can adjust the torque settings for drilling different materials. I find the instructions useful in getting started. It comes partly charged so you can try it out once you get it. It has a charging cord and battery life says 3-5 hours. Overall I am very pleased with this drill.
As we all get older we are not able to do what we use to. I have always had my own manual tools. I used to use them with ease and now I have to wait on my husband to fix anything. But!! With the 8-volt max I don't have to wait on him. It is so light weight and easy to use. No cords to get into your way. It also packs a punch. Lots of power with long lasting battery life. I love it.
This is a good tool to screw and unscrew items around the house. It charged in a couple of hours. I haven't used it long enough to determine the battery charge life. It would depend on the cost and the user whether this would be a good purchase. It does not have bits to drill holes. A single power tool that could do both drilling and screwing makes more sense to me but if all you require is a power screwdriver then this is fine. The body is made of plastic. Not the most durable looking material. I would recommend with reservations mentioned above.
This is a great drill for the price. It's easy to use, it has a good battery life, about two hours. It is easy to swap bits. It is great for projects around the house. Keep in mind that this drill was never intended to be used in a professional manner, but for around twenty dollars, it is just fine for any homeowners needs. It does take a while for the battery to charge when it is completely dead, around four hours or so. It is a good idea to keep the battery on the charger when not in use. At the price range, I consider it to be a disposable tool, not meaning that it isn't a darn fine drill, but rather if the battery were to did, it would likely be cheaper to replace the drill than the battery. The drill itself is an amazing workhorse. I haven't had it for that long but I have really put it through the paces, I have used it in a number of building projects around the house, I have put a wire wheel on it and used it to clean of rust, put a small buffing pad on it to polish the rims on my car, used it as a screw driver to assembly furniture and the like, and like the Energizer Bunny, it just keeps going and going. I have reviewed other Hyper Tough products and I have to say, I am not just impressed at the quality of these tools for the price, I am amazed. You could easily spend ten times as much on a "Name Brand" cordless drill at one of the home improvement stores, but unless you are a professional, why bother when you can pick this little beauty up at a fraction of the cost?
At First I Thought This Drill Was Great For Me After The First Use Of A Doorbell Installation. Few Weeks Later On Second Use, One Of The Drill Bits Actually Got Jammed/Stuck. I've Tried Everything To Get That Jammed Bit Out Including All Those YouTube Tutorials, I Apparently Didn't Do Those Methods Correctly
It did well, I used it twice and it did its job both times. However, it didn't last. I went to use it recently and, despite charging, it wouldn't turn on. The light will flicker on and off, but the drill doesn't start anymore.
