Hyper Tough Circuit Breaker Locator with Auto-Sensing Receiver, 90–120V AC

I am trying to figure out what runs what in my house and works wonderful for that. I have found that my kitchen and my bedroom are on the same 20 amp breaker and that is the reason that my Lights dim and things act a little funny whenever my electric space and my refrigerator kicks on at the same time. That is way too much on Single 20 Amp breaker. My house was built back in 1950 and then added sometime after that probably in the 70s or so and nothing is labeled on the breaker box

Was very impressed with this. I've used professional name brand breaker finders in the past, but needed one urgently and this was the only one I could find in the area I was at. It's worked great, found the circuit right away. I like how the plug stores right on the tester too.

It was less expensive than Amazon prices. Not a name brand electrical testing device. It will suit my needs.

So easy to use, and so convenient that the transmitter plugs onto the receiver for storage so I won't lose it. I followed the instructions and had none of the problems other reviewers had. A very useful tool.

This circuit breaker locator did the job. It is a little glitchy in that once it has found a circuit, it needs to be toggled on/off to reset the sensitivity. To be fair, the instructions say that, so it is not a surprise, just a little more difficult than it could be.

The Hyper Tough Circuit Breaker Locator did not perform as expected. I followed the instructions carefully, but the readings were inconsistent and often pointed to the wrong breaker. Instead of saving time, it ended up causing more confusion when trying to identify the correct circuit. Build quality feels basic, which might be expected at this price point, but reliability is more important for a tool like this. I tested it multiple times on different outlets with the same inconsistent results. This might work in very simple setups, but for anything more than that, it's not dependable. I would recommend spending a little more on a more accurate and reliable locator.

I attempted to power it on to no avail. After reading through the instructions, found I wasn't doing anything wrong. It occurred to me perhaps there was a tab interrupting the battery/power.. which, yes there was. However, upon opening the battery compartment it seems as if there are missing contacts, too. Sadly, will need to return and will likely purchase another elsewhere to avoid the same issue.

This product is unreliable and inconvenient. The tester took almost an hour to figure out, partly to it being delivered with a low battery. it worked well once, but i have yet to use it effectively a second time. I'd recommend saving your time and money and just flip the breaker then run back upstairs to see if the outlet turned off.

upon installing the enclosed battery and attempting to use it by following enclosed directions....absolutely nothing happened. A number attempts were failed. i need to return it!
