Hyper Tough Hole Saw Set with Arbor 1-1/4", 1-1/2", 2" & 2-1/8"

I make bird houses and install door locks. I use the 2" hole saw for my bird houses and the 2 x1/8" for door locks. They work great. Nice clean holes. I use soft wood mostly. I would buy again. Walmart delivered this hole saw the same day I ordered it. Thanks Walmart.......

This worked great for me at a very reasonable price. I was able to ventilate a location where pipes were previously freezing. I ESPECIALLY WANT TO CORRECT INACCURATE INFO IN AT LEAST ONE REVIEW. The mandrel has a set screw which holds the drill bit in place. The bit is NOT glued in as elsewhere stated. The bit did work loose as I used it, but I used an appropriate Allen key to tighten it after reinserting it. While it would have been preferrable if the seller included an Allen key for this purpose, it is not a design flaw.

Bought these for a small craft project. They are pretty good quality and have sharp cutting edges. I appreciate the different sizes that come with it so it’s seems like a pretty good value. Unfortunately, the shank was too large to use with my drill/screwdriver. I’m sure it was my error but just an fyi…this cannot be used with an electric screwdriver/drill. I bought a, adapter but it wasn’t compatible. I was able to rig something up and it did cut pretty well. I’m sure these would work well when used as intended. I’d recommend it. Also, I like how they can fit stacked inside each other to take up less space when stored.

Over the past few years, we have come to realize how valuable a variety of hole saws can be. We have remodeled our home and built several pieces of furniture, and there have been times when a hole saw was absolutely critical to the task at hand. We have purchased a few individually, and were excited to see a set with a variety of sizes included. We used the largest size to drill a neat hole into the back of a buffet now used for an entertainment center, and these worked as well as much more expensive pieces we have used in the past. This is a welcome addition to our tool box!

The holes for my bluebird houses were perfect. I’ve cut 6 1 1/2” holes and I don’t see any signs of the bit getting dull. I highly recommend this product. Also, the quick delivery was awesome.

Hyper Tough tools are performers, real bargains too. The 4-hole saw kit with arbor handles all sorts of materials, including hardwoods and plastics. It sets up easily and cuts quickly.

Let's be honest, this is not the best hole saw set out there, but it will do the job. If you are just cutting some rough holes of an approximate size, this is a good set up for the job. As with any hole saw, a lot of it depends on what you are using to drive it. I'm fairly sure if you used these in a drill press, up to speed, maybe sharpened, it would do a fine job. If you are using an under-powered cordless drill driver, it might fight you. All in all, I would say this is a good set for any handi-person to have around.

I'm just drilling some holes in 1/8th cheap wood material. I wouldn't buy these for projects passed that.

These are decent for the money if you have some very light Jobs to do, nothing big, just a small simple hole cut %26 even then, they barely get it done, if your going to be doing much hole cutting in your future, spend the extra Cash, go to Home Depot and buy a good quality brand name set, you won't regret it.

Dull blades. Started burning and smoking when cutting 1/2 inch MDF. The hole saws even looked like they were a bit rusty even though the package had never been opened. Arbor is stuck and can’t switch out hole saws. Going to show customer service and request a refund. Too bad - the price is good but product is crap.
