The light yellow color is good because you can see it even when it's getting dark. It's clearly well-made nice and heavy. I didn't try it because I am learning about extension cord gauges and I accidentally selected the wrong gauge. I've bought a number of hyper tough brand products, and trust the brand.
Needed a cord for my 14,500 btu window unit AC. Had to plug it in in another room because i had to much going in my room. Ran the cord outside from one bedroom to the other. Works great %26 i have had no problems with it. My old cord was getting really hot and i know as a furst respinder for 30 years, that's a recipe for a fire. However this cord can handle the load. going to get another one for my shop.
After I got the right cord a 100ft cord not the 50ft cord in the wrapper of a 100ft cord I was very happy with 100ft heavy duty extension cord. when you order and an employee pulls and another employee or contractor delivers a 50ft cord in a 100ft cords sleeve it's hard to be objective because I paid/ tipped driver and the delay in getting the right cord for the job was a hassle and it shouldn't have been, 3 people gave me no solution. NOW IM TOLD SOMEONE WILL COME AND PICK UP THE 50FT CORD BUT DIDNT SAY ID BE REFUNDED THE TIP ON 2 DELIVERIES OR THE RIGHT PRICE.
so far so good.. running a small space heater on it and haven't fried anything yet! My advice is always spend the extra for a 12/3 or 10/3 gauge extension cord. save yourself a headache and be safe. You CANNOT run a space heater on a 14 or 16 gauge cord safely. Something will fry sooner or later.. in my 70 years experience!
The Hyper Tough Extension cord works perfectly. I required a 12-gauge extension cord to power outdoor garden tools based on the amps needed. I found this to be affordable as compared to other big box home retailers which charged much more for a 100-foot extension cord. I have used this product for the last couple months, and it works great. Highly recommend.
This is exactly what I needed. Thick gage wire for outdoor use. I appreciate the light in the end of the cord... so you know it is connected to a live power outlet. It was 100 ft length. That is what I needed for this project. It wasn't cheap. But it was definitely worth the price. I would definitely recommend it. 👍
I live in western NY and it's been a little too cold to start my snowblower as usual, so I needed to use the electric start feature. Gemini recommended this outdoor extension cord as an appropriate option and it started right away with no problem.
It was definitely worth what I paid for it !!! I thought it was awfully pricey, but looking around at the other ones out there this is definitely one of the best choices
Very safe for an extension cord, bright yellow so nobody hits it with a chainsaw, very thick, doesn't get hot, and lights up on one end. You don't want the lesser one running an air conditioner, it has to be a heavy duty cord. They are expensive.
Cus the website said you had 3 then you notified me it was delayed and then when I called the employee said I would never give them to me . The product was like 60 dollars off so I lost out on a good product and you only offered me 10'dollars off on 15 dollars
