I purchased this doorknob for my son’s room to prevent his brother from aggravating him. The door has a locking mechanism, which serves its purpose for our situation. it was great to get this item in a few hours because i lost my key to the house and feared that someone would use my lost key to gain entry. i lost the key in front of my house and figured someone may use it and rob me. so walmart saved my day. i could not leave myhouse to go buy another lock that is where walmart saved me from an ackward situation

I bought the gold tone keyed with turning lock part for locking inside my bedroom and keyed part on the outside. Perfect for privacy on inside door also,smooth locking and very secure. This is the 2nd knob that I've ever put in (in my life) and if you want easy,this is so easy and comes with very detailed instructions (directions,steps with pictures etc) Ty for making this so simple. great purchase

it was easy for me to install. had to put it on my grandson's door, he likes to think he can lock me out haha. it works as it should and looks just like the picture. I'm actually purchasing another one today for the closet because he seems to think it's okay to go through everything in my closet haha

I used this to replace the door knob that was on the door leading into my basement. The basement doorknob is a nice replacement for interior doors. It is all metal and looks good as well. Installation was very easy and took me less than 10 minutes. You just need a star screwdriver and nothing else. If your previous lock had a different shape you will need a chisel to carve out some portions of the door like I did. Overall great lock for indoors. Not sure how this would hold up for entryway doors.

This was my first time assembling a door handle. I was changing out the handle and lock of a door on my house, so I did not utilize the drilling tools or need to make any cuts. The handle alone was pretty simple, though, and required only a screwdriver for changing out door knobs.
