Hyper Tough Outdoor Grounded Dusk-to-Dawn Timer, 2 Heavy-Duty Outlets

This has been such a huge lifesaver when it comes to our holiday lights it works really well. Turns on when the sun goes down and we have ours set to only eight hours. Works like a charm. We never forget to turn off our lights and waste, electricity.

These are super easy to use. Simply plug it in and set the timer. Can be used indoors or outdoors. Mine are in the front and back yards. I was amazed at how little they cost for a set of two. I've had them for several months, and they held up through the Halloween and Christmas season when my house is on overload with lights!

So far so good. Works as described. The settings are easy to figure out. Set up is literally plug in the outlet, plug in item you want on a timer (we're using for holiday lights), set it to the desired setting (I chose dusk to dawn, nice and easy). It is intended for use outdoors but can also be used indoors. The cord feels nice and durable. Seems like a great product for the price.

These timers come in very handy for outdoor lights, especially when it's cold outside! We used the dusk to dawn feature, which functioned as advertised. Lights would come on at dusk, stay on all night, then turn off in the morning. There are timed features which could be utilized, but we did not test. The plugs are well made and substantial.

The Hyper Tough timer is a great tool to save time, money AND aggravation when you have lights you want to be on or off automatically, for your convenience and safety . Roy

The fact that it wouldn't work in my chicken ccop. I've had other Hyper Tough dusk to dawn timers that worked perfectly in the chicken coop, but for some reason this didn't, but I exchanged it with the one in the barn and it worked in the barn just fine. The other Hyper Tough worked iin both places. The control knobs were different, so i will try to remember to buy the other one next time I need a replacement.

The timer showed up not working right. It would turn on, but none of the actual timer functions worked — not the regular timer setting and not the dusk-to-dawn mode. I'm returning it for a refund and going with a different brand. It might be a decent timer in general, but I never got to see it function the way it's supposed to.

This Hyper Tough Outdoor Grounded Dusk-to-Dawn Timer did work as an extension, meaning the 2 outlets had electricity, but the timer dial would turn but never let you set it to turn off at 2hr, 4hr, 6hr, 8hr, etc., the dial was defective right out of the box.

IT WAS THE WRONG ITEM IN THE BOX. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE TWO OUTLET DUSK TO DAWN TIMER, AND IT ONLY HAD ONE OUTLET. BOX WAS A LITTLE TORN AND TAPED, AND SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN SOLD WITHOUT VERIFICATION. IT WAS THE RIGHT ITEM

Worked great out of the box. Set up was easy. I had to unplug it to add some Christmas lights and now it doesn't work. It turns the lights on, but when I set the timer, the lights go out.
