Hyper Tough Shelf Kit with Brackets and Mounting Hardware, 15-3/4 in x 6 in

Really nice shelf, came with everything I needed to install it. I was able to get both brackets into the studs, so it's not going anywhere. The rest of the installation was easy. The wood shelf itself is very nice, worthy of somewhere nicer than my garage.

It is sturdy, and it looks nice, mostly; however, the screws that attach to the shelf are a tiny bit longer than the wood is thick, so they can come through the other side. I'm using it to hold the Hyper Tough mini toolbox, so those spots are covered, and it's no big deal for me. I've used quite a few Hyper Tough items and have been very happy with them.

I would recommend these shelves except for the fact that the screws they give you are too long and go through the wood shelf. When you are attaching the brackets and making sure the screws are fixed properly to the brackets, the screws are too long -and go through the wood causing a sightly bump in the top of the wood shelf. Otherwise, they would look good and are worth the cost - except for the too long screws.

These are really nice looking little shelves. There are no instructions. The package of hardware contains two different size screws and some anchors. The smaller screws are used to attach the boards to the brackets, but there are no pilot holes and the screws are too long for the boards.

I was disappointed in this product. For a product marketed as "hyper tough," it came with a lot of damage. The boards have gouges, cracks, and are warped. The hardware seems sturdy, but I'm afraid to put any weight on the boards. I do like the color, smoothness, and overall look of the shelves; just found that quality was lacking.

I was very excited to receive these shelves, as the 16" by 6" size is perfect for those wishing to add shelf space to a smaller area, as I desired for my office. The naming of "hyper tough" was encouraging, as I expected the shelves to be durable. Unfortunately, both shelves arrived with damaged corners. Even the edges that are not damaged look like the coating is separating from the shelf. On a positive note, the black brackets are small and sleek and look like they would hold up well, provided minimal weight is placed on the shelves. Despite this, I am very disappointed in the lack of quality of this product and would not repurchase it or recommend it to others.
