Hyper Tough Solar LED Motion Sensing Security Light, 500 Lumens, 120 Degree

Hyper Tough Solar Led Security Light was very easy to put up in a few minutes. I place it on a high fence on the side yard where there is no light I need some security light because it is so dark back there also I go back there at night get things out of storage unit. I found the light well made , light up when you walk by and it light up very bright this is a smart investment in your home security. I received this has a complimentary and glad I did.

What a great product to review. The Hyper Tough Solar LED (500 Lumens) Security Light, will definitely make a difference in my life. Living under a canopy of huge Oak and Magnolia trees makes for a very dark yard. I have the prefect place to easily install this motion sensor light. I have a backyard stairwell that is kinds steep to me. I am much older now and if I were to fall, it would be very bad. The Motion Sensor is very important to me as well. I want to be alerted if someone or something (dog/cat) is coming up to my backdoor. The Solar light comes with a Lithium-Ion battery. When the time comes the battery can be replaced. Since the weather does not effect the light, it could last for several years before it needs replacing. The Solar Panel is also included because without the panel, the Solar LED light would not work. The solar panel needs to be placed so the Sunlight will hit it directly. The Sunlight actually charges the internal battery. When you purchase and use the Hyper Tough Solar LED Security Light you realize it has many positive aspects. With no electric power required for this light, you may realize a decrease your monthly power bill. Since there are no electrical wires involved it's safer for children playing the house and lack of wiring reduces the upkeep and problem areas .As we know, there is always a chance that a power outage will happen. With the Hyper Tough Solar LED light, an outage doesn't mean you will be completely in the dark. After dark, the Solar LED light works like this; when a motion is detected the light will come on for 30 seconds, then it changes back to low light. The light this product provides, stores its own energy from its own source. That's fantastic, in my opinion. I intend to purchase many more of the Hyper Tough Solar LED Security Lights. I have no problem in recommending this product. One last thing, easy installation and cost-efficient.

I was actually surprised at how bright this light was. We put it in our back yard and it goes off everytime there is motion and it lights my whole back yard. It was easy to mount and get positioned also. We put it up during the day to charge with the sun and it worked perfect all night! I would like to get a couple more of these for my yard because they are bright and they dont need batteries to work.

My reason for a motion activated light is to discourage the critters that would visit and cause mischief at night on my back porch and to light the way when I let my dogs out at night. I mounted the light and the panel to the fence about five feet across from my porch. There is plenty of wire to mount the light away from the solar panel, but I opted to put them right next to each other, so I wound the extra wire around the mount for the solar panel to keep it from hanging. The light is plenty bright and lights up my entire patio which is about 12 feet wide. By 5am the following morning, I have noticed that it is not functioning, I assume the battery is depleted. But works again after charging for the day. It was very easy to use the screws provided to mount it to the wooden fence. It's been through rain, freezes, heat and other Texas-like weather. Each day, come sundown, it's working again.

This motion light is bright. I bought 2 for the back of our house for extra security. They work great and very bright. Our neighbor like ours so much we bought him one for a gift. Guess what he really likes it. May buy more for outside buildings.

I received Hyper Tough 500 Lumen Outdoor LED Solar Motion Sensor Security Light. My husband placed it in our backyard. He said this light sensor is easy to install and provides complete security and lighting. The light is bright and it really lights up a good amount of area, the reaction of the turn on feature works great. I highly recommend it.

The Hyper Tough 500 Lumen outdoor LED Solar Motion light was super easy to install. We left it out in the sun for a couple of days before activating it. I am thoroughly impressed with the amount of light this puts out. The light puts out 500 lumens which is about the light from a 50 watt bulb. There is a 9 foot 8 inch wire between the light and the solar panel which makes is easy to find a place to install the solar panel directly in the sunlight and having the actual light in another area that needs it. We placed the light on the side of our greenhouse and it works perfectly. I have found that I have to be closer to the light than the 25 feet listed n the description. I may have the light too high so I will move it and see if that helps. The LED is rated to last 18 years. The only negative comment I have is that I wish the light would stay on longer than 30 seconds.

I ordered these in a two pack. Actually it was another (800 lumen) version but for some reason the picker at the store chose these less-bright ones (500 lumens), and then changed it in my order history. I didn't notice until later that they were the wrong ones. I set them outside in the sun before putting them up on the fence because the directions say to let them charge for a few days before use. It rained briefly that day and water got inside the lights! There was condensation and fog inside both of the light portion with the clear plastic, on both of them. Now they are foggy. I cannot imagine that these would hold up here in Florida where it rains throughout the summer. I thought they were "outdoor" lights, so be careful if it is wet conditions.... I ended up returning due to them being defective and choosing another (brighter) model that appears to have better-constructed housing.

Honestly don't know how well they work because both boxes came opened, used and missing pieces. 😓

Dislike that stop working 2 weeks later.
