I actually really enjoy them. Pretty frosted glass gives a nice lighting affect that doesn't make it so bright. I had an electrician install mine so i'm not sure if it's easy assembly by yourself or how the instructions are but I would recommend these lights as they were a fair price and I enjoy them !

I wanted to change the yucky rental unit type of fixture with something attractive but affordable. I was able to do it myself easily and it looks great. Even though I like the style of other fixtures better, the reason this one works is because it's for a bedroom. When lying in bed, I didn't want to look up at exposed light bulbs but wanted them covered. Also, it's nice and bright and takes any standard bulb, nothing special required. Works perfect for those reasons and really cleans the room up nicely. Highly recommend

Great Quality
Great product for the price. It's sturdy and a nice basic look. I purchased it, hoping to replace my broken light shade, but unfortunately, this didn't work. It really only works with the fixture that is included. So it didn't work for my intention, but it's a great quality item.

Love the esthetics. Looks great in my kitchen and the price is good for the quality. I'm not a fan of the LED Lights.

Good clean look, great for laundry room!
Well made however glass is very thick and heavy. Thickness blocks about 25% of the light output. Because of the weight, it's wiser to assemble the stem to the glass first and then screw it into the base. (Most ceiling fixtures you'd install the stem first into the base, then add the glass).

Love the price, style %26 how it looks, but was hoping it would be a bit brighter, bought two to put in hallways, so it's ok if they aren't super bright.

Nice light, installation parts were junky
Metal rod that the cover screws into was bent so light cover wasn't flush with ceiling. Had to use tools to straighten the rod but we did finally get it properly installed. Not the quality I expected from Better Homes %26 Gardens.

Parts missing parts
Did not have all parts for hanging light. Stem was welded tight and would not fit in glass opening like directions stated
