HyperX Alloy Core RGB - Gaming Keyboard - US Layout

For a membrane keyboard I think it is great. It has anti ghosting feature. It has multimedia keys for pause, fast forward, stop, and volume buttons. I think the RGB is cool too. I wish it worked with the Ngenuity software. It feels solid and sturdy.

This was all I expect and more. The description does not do it Justice. The colors are great, and you can select color and pattern. This is the real deal.

Replaced my iMac keyboard with this. Love the higher keys and the spacing. Makes for faster typing.

The space bar got in the way

this is a pretty good keyboard. Keys feel good but not especially tactile. Its about in the middle of noise. Not really loud clicking but certainly not quiet. Some of the letters are hard to read from an angle but they're clear if you lean over and look directly down on them. The colors can be controlled and locked with buttons on the keyboard so you dont need software.

This keyboard appears to be thinner in the product images than it actually is in reality. It's a bit of a chunky keyboard but not irredeemably so. The light changes also have some limitations. There are a few customizable options but it doesn't offer you the full spectrum of colors to choose from. However, I do feel that it is responsive enough to be functional and mostly a pleasant user experience. It's not a silent keyboard but it isn't a sensory nightmare either. The only other odd thing is that the lettering looks a bit scruffy, like the light doesn't always shine clearly through the lettering, almost as if there is some dirt underneath the keycaps or something that's blocking it. I'll keep it but fair warning to anyone who feels like getting it.

The keyboard color, pulse, and the other garbage stuff needs a better set of instructions. I have a small problem with it needing a separate power supply and USB. I'm guessing the power requirement is too much for a USB or USB-C. I am wondering why it doesn't use USB-C for controlling the keyboard.

Looks great, connects when it feels like it. I tried 3 different PCs, all said malfunction when installing. Eventually I got it to connect and had to do a firmware restart. Even after the restart, it would randomly cut off and my son had to disconnect and reconnect during a game. Unacceptable. It also is not compatible with the Ngenuity software. If it were, it would be easier for the computer to recognize and install updates on the device. I will ask to return this one and get a better model.
